I have taken loan from this loan app RupeeWay when I was not aware that it is unauthorized and that they harass people to such extent. I took two loans from there, of a total of Rs. 3120 and even before my repayment date came, they kept messaging me on WhatsApp abusing me, harassing me and giving rape threats to me and my mother. They also said they would kidnap me from my house and rape me. They threatened to edit nude images of me and send to all contacts. They only sent all audio messages and I have videos of of those. I can't believe the extent to which they would threat. I have also received a lot of loan offers on my phone and WhatsApp from other fraud loan apps after taking a loan from RupeeWay, which clearly shows that they share your data with others.
They have my Aadhaar card and PAN card images and I am afraid they would misuse them.
I don't know what other information they hacked from my phone other than the contact list.
I tried complaining o the RBI sachet portal but I am having issues with OTP. Was this information helpful? |
