I installed a rooftop solar plant at Vijayawada through S Cube Energy and Infr Pvt Ltd on 1 st July 2017. This plant was approved under NREDCAP approval. At the time of supply and Installation the supplier indicated that 25 Years warranty to Panels, Vikram solar, 5 years and service for Solar Inverter, Poweroneups and 20 Years for structure. However, the company does not specify the warranty or time limit for technical support.
I am facing breakdown on Inverter since 2020, within warranty period, since then the inverter was breakdown for many times.
I contacted the supplier S Cube Energy for site inspection to find out the reasons for frequent breakdown and if required new solar panel will be bought as the earlier one is out of warranty
To my surprise, the company S Cube energy asking for Rs 3500 for site visit only, which is unreasonable.
We install solar plants and after 7 years the company asking for unreasonable charges for site inspection and it is nothing but blackmail to discourage buy solar plants.
The company did not indicate how long they give technical support and ort service in their quote. However, we buy the system with the trust from supplier of technical support as long as the panels under warranty. I am ready to buy new Solar inverter and I would like to know the condition of system whether it will work if I change the Inverter, for which the company charge for Rs 3500 per one visit is unreasonable.
