S K Veneer — Under Warranty compressor faulty and celfrost charging huge amount for replacement

My Chest freezer by celfrost purchased in june 2022, suddenly stopped freezing with all the belongings inside worth 15000/- got destroyed. While i raised the concern and service engineer visited and declared compressor faulty. i paid service charges as applicable since machine warranty was expired but compressor warranty is still valid and i expect it would be replaced free of cost. However celfrost is asking around Rs 4400/- for replacement whileas new compressor without warranty has similar cost, so what is the committed warranty all about.
There is no such charge mentioned in warranty card which they are asking now. Despite many mails and calls, there is no response from celfrost now.
