Once the 11th avenue and its adjacent areas in Ashok Nagar, Chennai-83 were very serene, presenting hygienic environs and was very pleasant to stroll along the streets and on the roads;but, the past is a past and nowadays, the streets and roads are polluted with human excretion. The public places have become the convenient places for defecation. People living in the huts nearby and the children in the streets use the public places as open-toilets. Also, spitting on the roads pose a threat to sanitary and hygienic surroundings. One has to step on human excretion only while getting on to the roads/streets. All along the roads and streets, fresh and dried human excretion make an unpleasant sight. The health and sanitary depts.of Chennai Municipal corporation ignore the importance of hygiene. The TN Govt.should urge the concerned minister to look into the matter so that to keep all the streets and roads very clean Was this information helpful? |
