I had applied for convocation certificate from Sardar Patel University in the month of September by paying the degree charges and courier charges.

The degree was suppose to be issued on 15th december 2016. Post the convocation date, the university website successfully reflected my convocation number and details. I had requested the degree to be couriered to my address and was consistently following up with university incharge on the courier status of my degree. Till consistent follow-ups of 2 and half months I was told that my degree is couriered and I will have to wait till I receive it. I also personally visited university office to check the status, from where I was sent to anand post office to take the courier details. The people at anand post office were kind to help me and check their excel sheet if my details were present. Unfortunately they were not able to trace my details.

I again, went back to university to inform the status that anand post office don't have any trace of my certificate and requested them to check again in their system. Again I got the same reply that the degree is couriered and I will have to wait.

Understanding the state of problem and my urgency, I also requested them to allow me to fill form of duplicate degree. But sardar patel universtiy incharge, didn't gave me that form justifying that since the degree is already couriered we cannot give you the form to get duplicate degree.

Now after two and half month, since the university people were unable to locate my degree, they are asking me to apply for duplicate degree and the reason I am given is that my degree was already sent in 2009.

I don't have any trace of my receipt of degree in 2009 which university is claiming to have dispatch.

This whole activity has cost me a loss of 80, 000 Rs that I has spent on agency aligning my immigration for Canada.

And the worst part is even after mailing the request to registrar o[censored]niversity and grievance cell, and other authorities, no one has least courtesy to respond to email and help for the problem that has occurred..
