I booked an airline return ticket through Sasta safar from New Delhi to Newyork and back for two, myself and my husband, on 4th Feb 2025 around 11pm by paying Rs 131, 124/- and I was waiting for the ticket.
After some time, I received a call saying that the ticket is pending from airline side as there is an issue with my name. The agent promised that he will talk to his back-end team and resolve. Next day early morning, the agent said I have to cancel the ticket as the airlines did not accept the names. The ticket involved 3 airlines Qatar airways/American airlines/Jet blue.
I asked him to return the money as the ticket is never booked with the airlines and I didn't receive any ticket from them to cancel it. He insisted that I have to send a mail to cancel for getting back the money. They charged me a penalty of Rs 21000/- for an unbooked and un delivered ticket.
I request you to help with the refund of the penalty money Rs 21000/-. All the details are attached as photos.
