I am putting this mail in behalf of the residents of magnum aura, located in new alipore, kolkata -700053. I want to bring to your notice the unreasonable demands being asked by your kolkata branch and how their maintenance charges have been soaring since installation whereas services are not rendered via timelines and discrepancy in the services asked for and that are provided doesn't resonate with the parties who bear the cost.
It is an issue which was underlying for most of the time till now, where all service contracts and obligations to maintain the elevator has been duly met along with additional payouts occuring at intervals for sudden problems in the elevator not being covered under service which according to them are "additional cost" was also paid to them. It is now unaffordable for us to meet their demands for maintaining basic utilities at such unreasonable prices.
We are not looking for baseless discounts now being given by your kolkata saltlake branch. We want proper addressal of the problem where there is no accountability of charges being levied on us while soaring amc's doesn't cover most of the maintenance required by your elevators. It is difficult to handle the situation in such way which further paves path only for litigation as a route for us if our complaints remain unheard. We expect full cooperation from main headquarters and indian headquarters to help seek full transparency on the contracts and constant soaring charges levied on us.
We wanted comfort and ease in our daily life hence we associated with schindler, a global brand we can trust and rely upon. It is now an experience which is turning into nightmare where your franchises here are taking us for ride and now recently they have asked unreasonable cost upto rs 3, 67, 000, almost a part of installation to bring the lift into operational efficiency.
I request you to look into the matter at the earliest as it is utmost concern for us where inhabitants of buildings are limited and since last two weeks, they have been twisting words about the issues and now suddenly they have come up with such irrational number. Everything is at stop while aged people are being forced to climb stairs to get their daily needs.
