I am a student of the MBA programme at the School of Open Learning (SOL), University of Delhi. The university conducted Semester III examinations in June 2025 after issuing the official datesheet, accepting examination fees, enabling the examination form, and issuing admit cards. I duly appeared in all examinations in good faith.
However, after the examinations were conducted, the university withheld my Semester III result and later informed me that students were allegedly not permitted to appear in that examination cycle and must reappear for all papers again.
The university’s action is arbitrary and amounts to deficiency in service and administrative negligence, as students cannot be penalized for an error committed by the institution itself after officially permitting and conducting the examinations.
Despite repeated emails and visits, no proper resolution has been provided. Due to this, I have suffered academic loss, mental harassment, and financial burden.
I therefore seek appropriate relief including declaration of my Semester III result or refund of fees along with compensation for the hardship caused. Was this information helpful? |
