I wanted to share a feedback on one of the bitter experience with the esteemed La Chatelaine school.
My father (aged around 60 years) and my mother (aged around 56 years) went to La Chatelaine school on Monday (23rd Sep 2013) to inquire about the admission for my son (their grandson) whose date of birth is 5th April 2011.
In the reception there was a person who attended my parents with utmost disinterest (he is a employee of your school, not sure what his name is).
My dad just wanted to know when will the admission form for Pre KG be given and whether my son is eligible to be admitted to the school in the coming year.
Ideally, the employee from your school should have attend the guests in a respectful manner (at least some consideration to their age is desired) and listened to their questions carefully and then answered politely. But he did not do any of these things.
When my father tried to give him my son's birth certificate to see if my son age falls under the eligibility criteria,
He said, "what happened, what should i do with this?", "Why should i check this, you check and see"
"Your son is not at all eligible for admission in our school?"
I heard a lot about La Chatelaine's reputation in my company (Hewlett-Packard) and hence decided this would be the best school for my son, but the impression that this employee gave to us was very shocking, how can some one in the CRM section (Customer relations management) be so rude to any guests. If this is how my son will also learn to treat elders, then i would better stay away from this school. Sorry, if my statements hurt you in any manner, but this is what my parents told. My parents are totally under mental disturbance due to this behaviour of that person.
My suggestion would be to warn the employee for what he did on Monday and remove him from guests attending section and put him in House keeping or something else, as he just deserves those duties.
Please excuse me for any hurting statements if I made any in this e-mail. I was just concerned about my parents dignity and the school's reputation, because still somewhere in the corner of my mind i am willing to admit my son in this school.
Regards,
