I was contacted via WhatsApp (number : +[protected] by someone claiming to represent Scrap India Private Limited (CIN: U51210DL2020PTC362921), offering a PDF to Word typing job.
I was told to pay ₹149 as a one-time registration fee, and they promised to send the work directly to my email after payment.
After I paid the ₹149 via UPI to [protected]@pthdfc, they then demanded an additional ₹620 as a “joining fee, ” which was never mentioned before.
I asked for a refund, but they stopped replying. This is misleading and appears to be a scam.
