Seasons Indoor Temperature Controlled Swimming Pool at Madhapur is probably one of the worst swimming pool in Hyderabad. It is misguiding people by advertising itself as a Temperature Controlled Swimming pool. The water is usually very chilly and unsuitable to take a swim at the early morning hours. Me and my wife took admission in this swimming pool to learn swimming from basics for 1 month starting from 2nd March 2024. To our utter disappointment on the first day itself we found that the changing rooms and washrooms were beyond pathetic. They are in a very dilapidated state and the management seems not at all interested to improve them. The swimming googles which they are selling for Rs. 500 each are also not of very good quality, as water enters the eye while wearing them and swimming. Then comes the trainers, who are not found anywhere near the premises of the swimming pool for most of the time, except a few like Naga Babu who are available for very short time intervals. However, we still somehow motivated ourselves to continue swimming in this pool for a few more days as the water temperature was initially tolerable. However, today when we reached the pool around morning 7 am we found the water to be ice cold and my wife, who couldn't bear the extreme cold temperature complained to the trainers about this. At first they were reluctant to do anything, but then they made her speak to a lady from the higher management regarding the issue. My wife was shocked when the lady on the phone said that since it's summer the water heater won't be switched on for a couple of months. To this my wife complained that this was not mentioned initially when we took admission. The lady replied that this is how it will be and if we want to swim here then we need to adjust to their terms. We were furious and left the swimming pool immediately even though we had 1 more week left from our subscription. These people are complete cheaters. They are charging Rs. 3000 per head plus registration charges for a month's subscription and not even keeping their promise of the advertised temperature control. We paid 6400 + 1600 for other accessories. Total Rs. 8000. I'm writing this complaint as I'm really disappointed by this swimming pool's management. Hope the consumer complaint forum will take some strict action against them for cheating people like this of their hard earned money. Was this information helpful? |
