Garbage accumulation at Koushik avenue park - Sembakkam Municipality
We like to inform that garbage accumulation and process is taking place at at Koushik avenue park - Sembakkam Municipality.
the maintenance activity is at very worst stage and it is not done propertly. The people involved in the cleaning and maitnance activities are not doing their work properly.
They are accumulating the garbage collected from the nearby areas in the park in the open area. [Even though proper shed and sewage tanks are there]
Our apartment is located very adjacent to the park. They are dumping all the garbage near our compound wall even though sepearte shed and tanks are available. They are doing this desperately. We have informed them to dump waste and garbage in the proper tank provided in the shed. But they are not listening us and they are keeping the garbgage in the open space that to very near to our compound wall. The photos and vides are attached for your reference.
The same was complaint to the supervisors also. But no response till now
Bad smell is coming and it is untollerable. Moreover lot of mosquitos and other insects are growing on the higher side. Bleaching powder and the appropriate chemicals are not applied so for[not a single time they are not applying]
We are all paying the municipal tax and property tax and cleaning charges etc regularly. So it is the duty of the municipality to keep the area clean and maintain the area without garbage. But it is not done properly
Now the corona wave is also in the incresing trend.
There are lot of apratments and houses are located near the park. So it is better to move the garbage maintenance activity to some outer area
by considering on the health aspect of the neary by residents, please take immediate action regarding this
