The above said bank is harassing me at work. I had given them 17 cheques and till july 2017 they taken the payment from my bank account for the loan i had taken. Then in december they started calling me for payments - i made payments but not regularly. I was in maternity leave and couldnt go to the branch to give the cheques and i asked them to send someone over which never happened.
Recently they sent a letter to my hr manager asking to deduct the amount from my salary. After that i made a payment of 24, 500 on the oct 15 & 16th. They kept quiet for a month and again they have started sending letters. My company will terminate me and when i told the same to the bank personal he said there is nothing he can do. I had asked them to mail me the payment statements/ loan repayment history as the amount doesn't show the 24500. The letter again states that te company director will get 3yrs or months imprisonment and a fine of 5000. This will cause me my job. The bank should contact my employer only if i am not accessible or absconding. I am making the payments but they are not ready to share any details. Please help.
