Sub: Complaint regarding Shri Sai Xray Diagnostic Centre, Address - 224, Gali no.7, Padam Nagar, Kishan Ganj, Delhi-110007 for violating quality and radiations norms.
Sir,
I may like to inform you that the above mention diagnostic centre is working in a densely populated residential area against all quality and radiation norms and without permission of NDMC and other concern departments.
The basic requirement for running a diagnostic centre like there should be :
1) NABH approved.
2) LED lining in a centre dealing with radioactive rays.
3) 13 -inch thick wall or made up of concrete.
4) They should use LED apron.
5) X ray tube covered with LED.
6) TLD badge for measuring X-ray radiation.
7) It should be approved by Atomic Energy Regulation Board.
8) Qualified technicians.
9) Washroom are a must as stool and urine samples need to be collected for tests or prior to certain imaging procedures.
10) Ample space to store samples and labelling samples is essential and one needs adequate staff for the same.
11) Syringes and instruments should be sterilized and hygienic prior to use.
12) There are numerous licenses needed to start up a new laboratory.
The above mentioned diagnostic centre is not complying any of above conditions.
Therefore it is requested in public interest that this Diagnostic centre should be closed immediately.
