Rs. 4000 /- was taken from me on 2nd January 2010 by Sigma Manpower Services, Vikhroli Branch { Mr. Dinesh } against commitment of providing maid at my Vasai Residence on or before 6th January 2010.From that date i have been continuosly calling Sigma Man Powers office & theri Asst. Area Manager { Mr. Dinesh }, but nor was any maid deputed to my residence nor did i receive any status about the requirement. i had clearly noted at the time of Handing over the Cheque itself that i want this requirement of maid urgentlyas my mother is a paralytic patient & ther is no one to take care of her in the absence of maid. All was well & done at the time of receiving the cheque & now after near about 3 weeks now i am being frustrated by their office employees . No Status at all, Mr. Dinesh doesnt picks up the phone, office people just repeat the same sentence, Dinesh Sir will call. if they cant provide the service what is the point in committing.

I am registered with Shigma Manpower Services on March 25, 2010 and paid INR 2750 to them for providing maid for my house and replacement in case she left for one year. They prmoised to send maid in three days. No response for 4 days. Thereafter we called them 4 times then they send 1 maid. We had kept them. After 20 days she left the job by giving an exsuce of her health. We contacted Mr. Hemant (owner of the agency) to send an alternate. No response. We called 10 times no one is doing anything. We send few reminders mail. no response.

It is a clear case of taking money and doing nothing.

I highlight to all the members that pl dont use any services of Sigma Manpower Services. It is bad then the worst.

The company is fraud. Pl cancel the licence

I recently got an SMS and a post card of a placement company, they are into manpower services.

I was looking for sales executives, tele marketing executives and some office boys. I called them and a lady came to meet me offered me a package of Rs. 4000.00 for an year . You can request unlimited staff and they will provide.

They have around 15 companies in Mumbai and head office in Mira Road / Bhayandar.

I paid Rs. 4000.00 to her but there was no response and nobody was taking call in office and she was not available on mobile also.

When I spoke with couple of my friends they also told me same story and they were also cheated by this company.

I think I don’t need to name. If you had same experience, you will know whom I am talking about or if you have never came across this, be careful.

Always check with your friends, check on google and other sites ask for references before you sign a contract.

They are also listed on many infoline and info website like JustDial, Sulekha etc.

They have big network and contacts. We cannot do much to them. We can only help other people by forwarding this mail.

Pls pls take a strong action against Sigma manpower, thane. I have also been cheated by Mrs. Shreya. & I know this is not her true name. Her true name is Sapana which is cheating everybody. I have given deposit amount of Rs.3483/- Receipt No 3349, Dted 25/10/08. at Sigma Manpower Services located at Room No 2 'J' Block Ranjit Studio, Dada Saheb Phalke Rd Dadar East, Branch to Ms. Nilima and she had assured us that you will get 10 candidates on a daily basis and if we are not able to provide you the said candidates within 15 days then we will return your money. Neither the candidates came nor that lady gave us satisfactory reply anda when ever we used to call her she used to reply Sir I will Call youback in 10 minutes I am fail to understand that when this Sigma People will complete their 10 Minutes,
After 20 days when I asked about the refund she started telling me the different story that money will come from our back office and you will get the amount in 1 that week days time after week when askd for money again got the same reply and I have ben waiting for 1and half month, but this cheters team are not ready to give proper reply when I told them that I will put a complaint then one lady Ms.Manju Nair came into picture and startd telling me that it was a member ship fees and you will not get v the money back.
If this complaint is been noticed by any of the senior member of the Sigama Manpower then I would request you to kindly instruct your staff not to give such a false promises to the clients and not to cheat the clients.

Requesting you to pls take necessary action against this and revert back on the same mail id.

I have experience the same. It has been 2 years and I have not received anything from them. is there a way to ban them and stop them from cheating others?

this sigma manpower is biggest cheat service in India they are claiming to give the job 100%. this is totally fake thing...i have never experience in this things...

They are big frauds. Even I called to Ghatkopar branch after registering after 3 weeks. When I called in the morning they asked me to call at evening 3 o clock and speak to Shamita. When called in the evening 3 o clock, Shamita is saying "I am not the concerned person, I am business development officer". When I started saying my problem repeatedly in English, she was bargaining in Hindi like in government offices that it is not her duty. She is not even able to speak 5th standard English and business development officer hahaha, very funny. So guys/gals don't fall prey to these frauds and be away from them.

I am writing this mail regarding services offered by your agency. I would like to bring to your notice the failure of services provided by your executives and failure of fulfilling the assurance provided.

I was literally forced to do the registration with our agency by your executives Ms. Shahin and Ms. Madhuri Gharat and was assured to get the best of your services. I was promised to get candidates as per my requirements and your agency will provide that on urgent basis.

I strongly feel that I have been cheated by your agency as your officials have failed to kept service assurance (a sheer breach of trust). By trusting your executives, I did registration and submitted payment on dt. 25.08.2009. I was assured to get the candidates by 28.08.2009 but I didn’t receive any reply from your agency. I was continually in touch with your executives. Later, I was told that candidates will come on 29.08.2009; but the same story repeated and I didn’t receive any reply from you. Moreover, now your executives are not even attending my calls. While trying to contact Area Manager Mr. Pritesh Kundan, he is not attending calls. Even if call attended, I get very ignorant answers i.e. candidates are busy with Ganesh visarjan ceremony and no return calls were done by him. I wonder if all the candidates are busy with visarjan ceremony. Please justify.

This attitude clearly shows that I am being cheated in this case and your agency is in no position to provide any services against my payment done. I was forced to do registration and issue payment.

Please note that, due to this, I have undergone through worst metal harassment and economical loss. Please be informed that if I don’t get any candidates by 31.08.2009 (between 1 pm to 5 pm), a strict action needs to be initiated by my agency and your agency and your officials would solely be responsible for any consequences / expenses incurred due to same. Further, please be informed that if failure to provide any candidate in mentioned period, the registration will be cancelled, contact will dissolved and Sigma Manpower services would be liable to return the registration amount immediately.

About Madhuri Gharat, on dated of August 28 2009 I spoke on phone with your executive Ms. Madhuri Gharat, she replied me’ I am not in office, I coordinate and informed you’ but till now she is not informed me. When I tried her on her cell either she disconnects the phone or pick up the phone and disconnects after 5 to 7min without speak. On August 31 2009; whole day I tried her cell but she did as mention above. When I connect her with another number she picked up in just 2 rings. I ask her why you not pick up my phone? she replied now I am in Kokan and here is range problem. I ask her still you are in Kokan? She replied yes; I ask her what about my requirement she replied your requirement is different from others we are unable to fulfill. What is mean of that please justify how my requirement is different from others.

Now about Yogita, on dt. August 31 2009 when I was tried to called Ms. Shahin, on her cell Yogita picked up the phone and told me Shahin is not in office that statement is prompted Shahin to Yogita; I told her ‘then connect to Madhuri ‘she replied ‘ she busy on another call’ this statement is also prompted Madhuri to Yogita. I gave her my cell no. and told her to informed Madhuri to call back; after ½ hr. I contact again; Yogita picked up and replied she left for the day.
At 2 pm she informed me the one candidate is coming for an interview at 3.00 pm please be in office but no one is came till 6.00 pm again I contact on landline number[protected] ask for Yogita the response got she is left for the day.

Now about Shahin, on August 28 09 I called her but she not picked up my phone after 3 pm again I contact her she picked up and informed me that all the candidates is gone for Ganesh Visarjan, will send you the candidates on 29th August 09; again I tried her on 29th August but no reply from her side. The left. On August 31 I contact her at 8 am her mother picked up the phone and told she will call you back after sm time; again I tried her either she disconnect the phone or handed over to Yogita.

Now about Area Manager Pritesh Kundan when I contact him on August 31’ 09
at 9 am by languid style he asked me did you acquire our services? Did you make the payment? What kind of your company is? I request him to send candidate on urgent basis, he replied only ‘ok’ by lazy style. I am surprised if he is the area manager he doesn’t know what kind of business is coming in organization.
At 2 pm I again tried to call but he disconnect my phone 7 to 8 times after he picked my call and quickly reply’ I called you back’ and disconnect. No call from his side. After trying to reach he switched off the phone. What is that?

Please justify all above the mention executives manners.

Yes . i too had registered with Sigma. This was the 4th registration. Cause we employers need staff on regular basis and need some good manpower agency. I registered with their so called headoffice in Mahalaxmi. We are located in Thane. The lady from H O promised me to send candidates on immediate basis and collected payment the very same day though it was very late evening by sending a person at my office. That was the last communication from her. After that it was me who use to keep calling her regularly, but she never attended my calls. And accidentally if she comes over phone, she use to give it to somebody else.. there are many people in sigma, Mr. Ghosh etc who keep giving false promises. also they have a mail [protected]@sigmamanpowercompany.com which is also again a fake id .. cause i never received any reply to my mails to this id.
Lastly Mr. Hemant from Thane sigma branch helped me out. Though the payment was collected from Bhyander branch person, Mr. Hemant sent candidates to my requirement.
Thanks to Mr. Hemant. Though after almost one year of harrasement from Sigma Mahalaxmi to Bhyander, i could manage two candidates at an expenditure of Rs. 6000.00 + phone calls.
Strongly recomending to avoid SIGMA.

I have had the same experience with them in the past.On the personal assurances of the owner one Mr. Amir i have signed a contract with their bandra branch in may'09. But the same story. A few candidates were sent who were not at all suitable for our requirements. and after that the standard reply we are sending candidates but no one turns up for an interview,

THEY PROMISE ME TO SEND CANDIDATE WITHIN 2 DAYS AS THEY HAVE ALREADY 20-30 CANDIDATES. TO DAY IS 3-3-10. AFTER 1 MONTHS NOT A SINGLE CANDIDATE SEND TO MY OFFICE. I EVERYDAY MKE 5-6 TELEPHONE TO MR. SURESHBHAI, Mrs. neha. I ALREADY SPEND 1500/- AFTER TELEPHONE. NOW THEY ALL CAN NOT PICK UP PHONE AFTER SAW MY TELEPHONE NUMBER ON MOBILE. THEY PROMISE ME TO SEND CANDIDATE WITHIN 2 DAYS AS THEY HAVE ALREADY 15-16 CANDIDATES. TO DAY IS 11-3-10. AFTER 1 week NOT A SINGLE CANDIDATE SEND TO MY OFFICE.Later on i realise that their services are all fraud from the Internet. I EVERYDAY MKE 5-6 TELEPHONE TO MR. Mayuresh, & Mrs. Nikki. I ALREADY made so many calls Mr. Mayuresh keeps telling us that the same day at 3 p.m. the candidates will come to your office and Miss Nikki she does not pick up the phone calls . Now i have asked them the refund as dont trust their services.

I had contacted Sigma in february regarding a maid servant for my house. The contact person (Jaya) at Sigma assured me that she had already identified 3 candidates who met my requirements and that all that I needed to do was to register myself with Sigma and pay them the Rs. 4000 registration fee. She assured me that Sigma would send me the maid servants starting from the very next day.

I registered with Sigma on March 2 and after that Jaya refused to ever come on the phone (the excuses varied from - she is not in office, she is on another call, she is out for lunch etc.) No servant ever came and I never got a call from Sigma either. Everytime I called Sigma, they assured me that they would send me a maid servant in the next couple of days.

After about 2 weeks of waiting and no servant, I asked Sigma to refund my money. Initially they refused. Only after I threatened legal action did they agree to refund my money. Even then I had to call everyday to follow up with them and everyday there was a new excuse - the accounts person was sick or on leave or that they had already sent me the cheque! Of course I never received the cheque on the stipulated day. When I finally did receive the cheque, it was only for half the amount!

I am planning to initiate legal action against Sigma. Most obviously from the above comments, this appears to be a racket that Shyam is running to dupe innocent customers and he needs to be taken to task for this.

If anyone is interested in becoming a party to this, please reply to this thread and we can take this forward.

This Sigma Manpower Services is openly cheating people I wonder how come they have not been brought to task till now. I was also one of the victims because I made a big mistake of not checking the net before making the payment to them because the only thing you can find about them in the net are a huge list of complaints. Their only job is to come and collect the registration fees from you and after that you can just forget about the money or any services.

I had contacted one girl called Anuja (from their Mulund Branch) as i needed a maid servant for my house. She told me that there were many candidates ready at her end who even live close to my house and she even forced me to pay by cash saying that cheque will take 2-3 days to clear and since one maid is ready she will send her to meet me the same day and if i pay by cheque she will not be able to send the person till it clears. They charged a fee of Rs.2800 almost for a period of six months and she said that there was a big list ready with her so I will definitely find someone in a day or two its been almost 4 months now.

After taking the money from me these people did not bother to send any candidate and they even started avoiding my phone calls. Every time a new person will come on the phone and ask what is it regarding and then they will say that we will have to check and get back and not a single call i have got back from their side. This girl Anuja didnt bother to speak to me ever again. Now you can imagine what BIG CHEATS THIS SIGMA MANPOWER SERVICES IS.

I got this number from Just Dial services so if someone from there is reading this i would like to request you to check and remove such cheats from your list because from now i am definitely not asking Just Dial for any numbers since there is no credibility attached to it.

I had paid Rs. 6066 to Sigma Manpowers Thane in the first week of March 2011. Till now I have received not a single good CV from them. They dont have appropriate answer to my calls and are a BIG FRAUD company. I am completely stuck and dont know what to do.

Sigma Manpower Services is a Fraud Company. I got these Postcards in our office thru courier stating that this company provides candidates from lower to upper level with 15 branches all over Mumbai. Inquired by calling them, one of their Executive Ms.Poonam spoke to me that she would help me out in providing candidates related to my Field and also candidates with nearby location from our Office. Since then she kept calling me daily for registration. After 2 months of her daily reminder calls i thought of registering as she promised me to send Candidates in 2 days as she already had lined up the candidates for me. After waiting for a week i had still not received any calls or cv's from their end. I called on the same no. to speak to Poonam but some other girl came up on phone with no clue on my requirement status also saying that Poonam has gone out of town.

I called them again after 2 days i got the same reply. So i asked them if 1 person is away, is the company also shut as no one else is working on my requirement. That's when she told me( Ms.Namrata) she will send in the cv's by tomw. But the next day happened to be the same thing again, there was no call or cv's sent. I called them again, dats wen i blasted and wanted to speak to Poonam who asked me to do the registration. They rudely answered that she is getting married so she is on leave. I was so frustrated with their bulling answers. I warned them if i don't get the cv's by 5 till today i would lodge a Police Complaint. That's wen i got 5 cv's from them which were absolutely irrelevant to my requirement. I told them about it but there was no relevant reply from them too as most of the executives don't speak or understand good english, their english speaking is Pathetic. I still remained calm and told them to work on a basic requirement for a Office Boy and a Carpenter, she told she would look for the same and will send me the cv's in next 3 days. Again there were no calls or cv's from them.
I had to follow up with them all the time, after waiting for a weeks time i called them and asked for Namrata who was looking after my requirement. The operator says she has gone on leave for 15-20 days. The same answers all over again this made me feel that the company is Fraud and Cheating on People. I would definitely lodge a complaint to Police and will visit their office in Bhandup to take their case royally as this appears to be Racket and i will make sure i will punish them.

I registered with sigma manpower services at there dadar office on 28th April 2011 .this was for a account assistant .till date they have not sent a single candidate. The took 100 % payment advance, now they don’t even bother to receive your call .no one is bothered to give appropriate feedback.
I feel cheated, this people are bogus and 420 .they are so shameless that in spite of follow up from my side on every alternate day I do not get the reply .

We have paid Rs. 4000 to Sigma for their one year subscription. They have promised that they have a large pool of candidates and that they will be sending us their details within 2- 3 days. Its been 6 months and we have never recd a single CV from the, We have tried to contact them on numerous occassions, but they always hang upon us.

Mr. Dilraj Khan is the person in charge of our account. Everytime we have tried to contact him he has disconnected the call.

These guys are frauds and must be punished. Their business must be closed down so that they do not cheat other small businesses like ours.

I think the authorities must take severe action against this company.

Bhavesh at kurla office told me that the candidate is shortlisted and ready..once u pay the money v can send the candidates and then u can select the one..now its been a month...not even a single candidate has reached to my home..forget about meeting not even called me...

i have had the same problem. they say they are trying then want to alter my requirements such as timings and salary. They are big cheats. Then they just stop coming on the phone and keep passing the line to various people and you just have to keep telling your problem to different people all the time. some action needs to be taken.

They are interested in only making new subscribers rather than providing candidates to the existing ones. They will assure you that they have candidates of your requirement and will line them up at your place immediately as you will pay money to them but after you pay them they will not even bother to attend your phone calls. If you start calling for complaints they just stop coming on the phone and keep passing the line to various people and you just have to keep telling your problem to different people all the time. some action needs to be taken.

Sigma manpower is the biggest cheater i have seen.
This is such a company that will only come to collect payment.
Once you have paid the money, it is to be forgotton.

I somehow get a feeling that there is absolutely no law to prevent this company.

You are absolutely correct.
As soon as you give add for job offer in any news paper they will start calling you from all the branches. As soon as you make them payment they will send you 1-2 candidates which are not at all as per your requirement & if you don't select them they will tell you that they have send you candidates as per your deails & will send you any more candidates.

Not only that if the selected candidate will leave your job then they will not care of your call to provide the new candidate as per your contract. They are just hungry to get thier 3000/- for each candidate.

The marketing people dosn't have candidate's list. All data provided by Mira Road office only.

As per my personal experiance I will strongly advice you that DO NOT go for Sigma Manpower Serive in any branch. Better just give your add in news papers or post in any free classifieds servrices web site.

We have paid Sigma Manpower services Mumbai Rs.6180 provision of Employees for our Buisness for a period of 2 years. we also paid the membership fees of Rs 4000 to SIGMA MANPOWER and it is almost 3 months passed not a single candidate they have sent. Every time they give excuses i.e. they will send the canidate or they just pass the phone to other people when we asked them for their owner contact details.

For membership they use to call soo many times after getting there membership fees they are just vanished and not replying to the customers and using bad languages .

Be very careful of this company

I recently got an SMS and a post card of a placement company, they are into manpower services.

I was looking for sales executives, tele marketing executives and some office boys. I called them and a lady came to meet me offered me a package of Rs. 4000.00 for an year . You can request unlimited staff and they will provide.

They have around 15 companies in Mumbai and head office in Mira Road / Bhayandar.

I paid Rs. 4000.00 to her but there was no response and nobody was taking call in office and she was not available on mobile also.

When I spoke with couple of my friends they also told me same story and they were also cheated by this company.

I think I don’t need to name. If you had same experience, you will know whom I am talking about or if you have never came across this, be careful.

Always check with your friends, check on google and other sites ask for references before you sign a contract.

They are also listed on many infoline and info website like JustDial, Sulekha etc.

They have big network and contacts. We cannot do much to them. We can only help other people by forwarding this mail.

Please do not waste any time and forward this mail to all your contact.

Hi, I am sangita. Even i had a good & bad experience with Sigma. Good experience was with Bhandup branch. they used to give me a lot of openings.
And that was helpful.

But 3-4 years back, when i went to Sigma at Kurla branch, they just took away the registration charges from me. And i didnot receive a single call from them till date. After registration, I called them up so many a times on their landline, but there either no response from them or they used to say that the concerned person who looks after the opening is not there.
This branch was situated at Kurla west on the 1st floor in a poor locality.
I think that was a fake co.

So beware if you are approaching at kurla branch.
