Hello friends my name is suresh Roll Nb[protected] and iam from Hyderabad i had joined in sikkim in this year jan month at the time of joining addmission they have given wrong commit ment that ther is no use of inter certificate to join for mba and after joing at the time of 1st semester they are forcing me to get inter memo soft copy to write exams.

So at last my add-mission has got canceled and they dint even given my money back till now.it almost 1 moth had completed iam still waiting for my fees check.

they r making some business not study. i also have done mba from there but didn't get any placement. It was very heard time for me to get first job. Dont believe them, Sandeep Bhoumik and Sangeeta Bhoumik both are lier. Actually they have been established a family business and poor infrastructure, poor facalty they have been provide. It best to take admission in any other learning center othe than barasat. You'r life going to be hell i[censored] take admission despite learning my word.

I Saikat Sen, presently working as a Manager in Axis Bank in Advance dept.was interested for MBA course in finance from your University, Barasat which is the HQ of 24 pgs(N) district is my home town, so I choose your recognised Lee Sun College as my study centre, I deposited a Axis Bank at per chq. worth Rs.12950/- dt.21.11.2010, in fvg of "Lee Sun College" along with all the credentials(viz. attested marksheets & certificate of School final, Higher Secondary, Graduation & Master degreet)he chq was cleared on 22.11.2010, but till date I neither get the prospectus nor the study materials/registration no.
So, it is my earnest request to speed up the process so that I can get all the aforesaid materials as early as possible.

Indian Institute of material management — False judgment

Hi, I am ullas Bhat from bangalore working in bahrain.
Have enrolled for stores mangment course (correspondense) in The Indian institute of material mangment bangalore. The first semester exam had held in the month of June-10, I am working in bahrain and had come to bangalore only to write exams. For about 18 days i had studied (in india) everything in the book as i had minimum option to study at bahrain.I did appear for the exam at the front bench and exam faclitator / examinor was just beside me. When i get the result i was surprised to see i had failed. When i cross checked did come to know i had secured 0 marks, and comments was Copied...!
Would like to know from the institute is mugging up and writing is wrong? Why did the institute not stoped me while copieing if they say so? I had contacted the exmanier who says i did not copy and he said he will stand for me if required.

It is very humilating to say copied inspite of one not attempted to do so...Later they have asked to apply for paper correction...later just realised to make money..
I want the students to be aware of such fraud institute who dos not only here to make money and play with students life also to humilate the students.

Mr.Saikat Sen, Addressing you first as you have provided all d info o[censored]rs, the admission details n cheque issuing date..thank god uv not shared the cheque no with the readers also...but we would have been very grateful i[censored] had shared the whole truth with everybody ...but i[censored] r not agreed...let me help you.U r right.U took admission on 21.11.10 for MBA in our Feb session...but as our register shows...the study materials that uv alleged u r yet to receive...they had been handed over to your father on 15.12.10 i.e within three weeks of your admission.As for the delay...I[censored] remember, constantly calls had been made toyou to collect ur books but you were more keen on having the registration id than the books, until ur father came to collect them on your behalf...And we have his signature with the note "Books collected for Saikat Sen, signed S.SEN" in our register.So we are extermely sorry if any miscommunication or misunderstanding cropped up between us..but as we value our students..we would request you that in case of any further problems..kinly contct the mangement of the centre..bcoz at the end of the day, they are going to solve it out..not any public forum.

As for others, specially our dear anonymous "former student", who made the first post, dear, we understand that freedom of speech is given to all indian citizens! In fact this is the only thing that we get for free! So use it dear, we have no problem as well...because we think people are judicious enough to decide who is is what! Just let me tell you one small fact, no brother in law ever took classes of hardware in our centre! And for placement, you can always seek our support!We shall be glad to help you!

Actually u r born liar, that is why u can capable to write some decorative paragraph or sentence which might look true infront of new students. I'm again warn each and every student don't take wrong decision to join this center. I[censored]r doing any management course in here then u will find how difficult to make ur degree valuable in present market condition. They never offered any short of good placement support but if they send u for interview then u realize what a big mistake u have done to trust the learning center after seeing the organisation. I want to share some unforgettable disappointing expericence with u:- According to course in final sem we had to submit a project report. But they were not providing u any summer internship but they were commited us that they will provide summer internship/training in any reputed company. Whatever, in the decisive moment in the final sem they has't manage anything. In that situation who r wrking person they r manage there own bt who r fresher they hasn't get anything and every one searching for ready made project. But me and my friend not ready to copy any old project and we were visited many companies but everyone denied us after listening our center name.Then, me and my friend went to the the principal (Sandeep Bhowmik) of the respected institution and requested him somehow please manage us a live project. Then, suddenly he was sent us in a reputed manufacturing company and we had been selected. After 1 day of training the receptionist of our college called us and say u have to pay a lum sum fee for that training ( i'm not mentioning the exact money). we were wonder that time and again went to visit the principal and he said u have to pay that amount then we replied him that we are not able to pay that amount of money becasue our family financial condition is not good enough to pay that amount of money and i[censored] want u can terminate us from that project and we have no objection for that. Then he became angry said go out from my cabin. After that we were somehow complete our project and submitted it to center during the examination of project presentation. But after the result we were shocked becase we got very less number in the project. And we also learnt that some of our friends who were buying project directly in exchange of huge money from the learning center, got near about full marks. And i also mention one thing that perpective whatever the project they had sold to our friend that were old projects which had been submitted by previsous years student. Now i asked every student who r joining already and who r planing to join, how secure r u feeling from inside.

LEE SUN COLLEGE IS BEST COLLEGE UNDER SIKKIM MANIPAL UNIVERSITY IN EASTERN INDIA. IT’S INFRASTRUCTURE AND FACULTIES ARE UNPARALLELED. IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBT COME AND SEE IT YOURSELF. IF ANYONE IS HAVING ANY SORT OF GENUINE GRIEVANCES THEY SHOUD NOT HIDE THEIR IDENDITIES AND MAKE FALSE ALLEGATIONS.

Sandeep Bhoumik is a liar it's 100% true.

Dear friends i am a student of his learning center.

First he assured me that i can take Bank Loan for course and he will help me, But after registration he give me only dates. After one dates he gave me another date. Now i am not able to get loan from bank.

Second he assured that if i don't need the classes then he will omit my class fees. But he lied.

Third .. All teaching stuffs are not so good. Some of them just challenge students that "I am the best".

AMITAV is one of the most challenging man in this Learning Center. He tell everyone to follow the reading material but he don't ever follow this. He give lessons from his mind. And teach gibberish.

IF AMITAV SEE THIS POST THEN BE HONEST TO EVERYONE AND TELL THE TRUTH. THAT YOU ARE A LIAR YOU ONLY CHALLENGE STUDENT BUT IF ANY STUDENT ACCEPT YOUR CHALLENGE THEN YOU WILL LOSE.

Dont know from so many comments any body will read my one or not.
In my first course I do DOEACC A Level, its a level by using which no body can do any thing or very little thing and also I am not B Sc or any degree with Science. So this is only my technical degree by that now I am in London from a world leading company. That means main problem about your study not course or centre.
I have study and have seen in many place but no where have seen colleges are excellent, specially this types of college. Private Engineering college and low graded college also in same position. That means Lee Sun is not exceptional. Only by paying Rs 10-15K on organization can get good teacher. So college condition is like that. Also I have doubt anout SME-DE, its not good at all every body knows.
So why you people have came to study specially fresher people. Its your fault you should not come this like education. For fresher distance education is not suitable.
I am also student of Sun Lee and have seen this is also same type organization as other, 1 teacher is good other is not. So I am not seeing any bad thing from Sun Lee. Its your problem to expect much from Lee Sun and SMU-DE.

I am Pallabi Kundu, may you knew me as a placement officer of your institute.But I fully agree with all the students who say that Mr.Bhowmik is a big big cheater.He does not cheat just with his student only he cheat with his office staff also, That's why nobody can stay there for a long time.He is just a big business man, who can just earn money against of any thing sale, and for money he can sale himself also...

At first they hire me as a placement officer at their but I can't help the student in maximum way because they don't want that...They think if the student get job then the student did not take class facility and in this way they can loose their business.That's why after two or three months they forced me to work as a receptionist at their.This is so insulting for me but just for job I being silent...

Mr.Bhowmik committed me at the time of joining that he will give me my appointment letter after six month, but after six month he just disagree that and say he can't say ever like that.I was just shocked for his falls words...In fact when I say him that every company has provide a legal documents to their employee like appointment letter then why he did not give me that?He say "we are very bad company" just like a looser...

You know he sac me without any notice for what reason?Because suddenly I had to take medical leave for my operation, I gave him the information of my this condition but he say " I can't give any leave for long time"even he did not pay my pending salary and my all documents like training manual etc...

For their (Mr.Bhowmik and his so called wife Mrs.Bhowmik) this attitude and behavior nobody can stay there for a long period, only those employee can sustain who has no any option like... you know better than me guise.

Anyways guise I can just say through-out the work experience in Leesun college is too much worst, I wish I don't have to face that kind of cheap people in my next professional life, and as a well wishers I don't suggest ever Leesun college to any student.

I agree with pallabi mam.Actually we 1st time saw campassing in our college when she was in our college.Before that I didn't hear from the senior batches any campassing arranged by SMU Barasat.My bad luck is that i heard this after taking admission.At the time of admission, Mrs. Bhowmik, the most uneducated, uncultured, fake woman told me every student of Lee Sun College get placement from their institute.

Now when we ask Mrs.Bhowmik will we get placement?She always tell us definitely.But we know it very well she is a big lier.Don't u believe that now we can't get any right information now from receptionist or our so called co-ordinator Mrs.Bhowmik.Before the exam (aug.2012) we requested receptionist to meet with Mrs.Bhowmik as we need 2-3 extra classes as our 5 units are incomplete as bcoz of their fault.Knowing the reason she didn't meet us till the exam.

I can't understand how can she sit on this chair? Actually she sit there to cheat the new comers & the existing students.

I am a 1st sem student of BA Journalism. I was horrified after i went through the study material. The study material, it seems, has been prepared in a reckless hurry. It is full of all kinds of error(grammatical, printing, illogical sentences). After paying so much money i wasnt expecting a sub standard education. Moreover, there is no support in terms of assignments. After you pay the fee they will give you the books and thats it !!! I mean they should justify the exorbitant fee with proper support.

The SMU education centers don't get enough commission from the institutions or they are simply greedy. They keep begging to take admission and join the classes at their center. One center I visited myself had their staff and coordinator asking me to get them a job in my company. They neither get good pay nor they give good guidance or information to aspiring students. What a shame - institutions giving professional courses should behave so much unprofessionally!

All the humbug about their centers being very good is rubbish. They only give some stupid gifts or discounts to some students who keep singing their praise and keep telling everybody to join the same center.

All you fellows who don't value quality education will go to these money making centers. Any government university degree is far better than going to these greedy beggars. In our country the beggars have become more and more demanding. It proves their standard is also rising - now I believe the country is also progressing economically. When beggars are earning more and more, then the growth rate will not be 6% or 7% it will be 100%.

there may be a bad centre but that does not make SMU DE bad. Did you ask the centre why are they asking for extra money and did you give the money in the form of a DD in favour of SMU DE?

I am also a student of SMU DDE, Kolkata. Our learning centre (APEX) in Bhowanipur is very much co operative. You can't blame the whole university for one or two people. At the end of the day, no one can deny that Sikkim Manipal University has the best distance learning methodology in INDIA. Their EDUNEXT is just superb. It allows us to interact with the University teachers, Industry people.. There are so many things which other university don't provide. Its easy to criticize..But why don't be realistic??

I am doing MCA and haven't face any such kind of bad experience. SMU has a good examination system and course infrastucture, only thing it lacks is quality of study metarial, which i guess because of running so many courses, so SMU needs to take much care about their study metarial design and proof correction. For a full-time working porfessional SMU is one of the best option to get higher degree with minimum effort and seriousness comparative to others...forget about its value...becuase job experience is only required everywhere..othert than you are from IIM or IIT kind of area. If you need knowledge - go for job experience, if you need job - go for full-time university digree, but if you have job, just need to enhance your knowledge and qualification - then only go for SMU.

Anything under the sun, is running in order to make money... no matter what it gives you education, healthcare or anything else...and SMU is no exception.

The Matter is That In December 2008, We Lost My Degree. After That Contact to University Helpline No. and Nimact Center in Jhansi/ Allahabad Branch to Know About That How We Got New Certificate. But 3 Or 4 Months Nobody Reply Me. When We Contact To University Help Line/NIMACT Center, No Reply Me. After That We Search Manipal Vice Chancellaer Or Registrar Mail id, When we Contact VIce Chancellar Or Registrar, He Give me tha the Person Name, Whose See Distance Education Related Course. The Person is Mr. Atul Negi. When we Contact To Mr Negi, He Wants Me All Semester Marksheets, I was Send These Markshets To Negi. After That Negi Required Agreement Copy Between Nimact Center & University. I also Send This Agreement Copy. When He Receive This Copy, He Required MOU (Memorandum O[censored]niverisity). This MOU is Provide to University Or My NIMACT Allahabad Center. But Nobody Can provide This MOU. Last 2 Months i Request To University or NIMACT Center That Plz provide MOU Certificate. But He is Not Showing Interest in My Matter. This Matter Already Spend 8 Months. I Required My Degree Very Much. B'coz i m Unemployeed And I want My Managment Degree For New Job. I dont know what you people are talking about...because I am doing my MBA from SMU and I have not faced any issues. I think its just your bad study centre experience because in my study centre we are getting good Class Room support. We have weekend classes on saturday and sunday ranging from 3-4 hours... I know a friend of mine whose study centre provides everyday class room support from 7-30 AM to 10-30 AM. And if you are talking about getting a good job after doing a correspondence MBA then dont have too high hopes...whether its from SMU or any other University... We are no way compared to people doing from a full time University... My advise is that try to get as much work experience and other knowledge besides MBA and improve your soft skills and in this way the MBA will be an added bonus...but if you are just depending on a correspondence MBA then it will be a hard reality.

Please tell me that can I do Ph. D after completing MBA for SMU( distance learning). and also can I applied for governments jobs as like regular MBA from any university.

With due respect I beg to state that "WEB COME" learning centre is not suitable to run more. The attitude and manegement is perfect to handle the sutdents educational background. The learning centre not give any type of assistance to the student. They are just taking the admission and not cooperating the students. No communication through the learning centre provided to the students, by which the students are unkonwn to take thier classes and even no awareness programme provided to the students for the examination classes. The director and its management is just careless about the students future. They just takes admission and then nothing any guidance and programme for the learning classes and practical programme at learning centre. There is only one computer which is running perfectly others are just value less. By taking the lady staff the son of director is just enjoing the moments of office by coffee, tee and snaks and even hard drinks. and I want to take transfer to the Noida sector 18 centre.

I'm totally agree with all the complains & good remarks given by other people. But the thing is that many influenced people run the study centre of SMU as a Full time MBA college in many cities in India. I also trap by one of the study centre in Baroda, Gujarat. The study centre seems to be like Top B-Schools or IIPM or ICFAI type. When i gone there for inquiry the faculty members were big liers like anything they convinced me that its a Full Time course & BLA BLA BLA & they charged a High Fees of 1.7lacs rupees for 2years. They told me that they will give us 100% placement guarantee which gradually turn into assistance. So before taking admission into this SMU think twice. Many people had a question that are they eligible for government job or not then yes they are as SMU is recognised by UGC & DEC approved so like full time MBA student we are capable of government job. But don't think we can compete with Top B-school or reputed Management Institute. But SMU is atleast far better than ICFAI national institute, IIPM, WLC & other faltu colleges which ve got affliation from state university as a full time but don't ve any standards. I'm from baroda i knew many student who have done mba from full time college but they are unemployed & i gotta job in real estate company.

My experience with SMU is very good. I appreciate their standard of conducting examinations and papers (some times too tough papers it is really meaningless to test students knowledge). Yes, I agree the study centres might be less standards as students only do not attend the classes that makes management care less for students obviously we experience bad management. -G.N, Hyderabad

oh God!!! i was doing my masters in Annamalai university Delhi but the university is horrible.. even the exam centers i get whenever i apear exam.. i always get in some industrial..factory area school.. the study center phone is never picked up.. so i thought of applying in SMU for MBA since annamalai knows only to collect money but no concern for students.. but now reading the comments.. seem SMU is also the same.. it means distance learning enters are all money oriented.. not concern of studnts grieviences.. too much concern of business thn giving good education.. I am really confuse which university should i choose. seem all universities are the same.

I agree with u.even I paid full amount till I pay the amount they apply full maska then after they say the Vidya branch people of bangalore dont help for anything, they say their not connected to smu.When i called smu, Smu says faculties members should be there in all the centres so I should complain karnatka education manager.But, this vidya system centre they keep on giving excuses saying faculty is absent.How can some faculty can be abent more then a year? they are ridiculous.No1 should get into this university.The study materials are just.Half of the information is wrong and other half is just repeatation of lines in different words.No1 should do corresponding MCA atleast don't do it from SMU.I am suffering and I don't want others to suffer.Do regualar MCA, I[censored] can't do regular one then don't even think of Corresponding mca, u can have lots of other courses in IT areas.I am frustrated in this university.Now u guys don't join it.And they sned messages to the existing students that get 500 and bring new students for admission to our university.

I got admission in M.Sc. Environmental Science, Distance Learning in the year of 2009 and the admission was given in the name of Global Open University and a draft of Rs. 5125/- which was received by IIEE, New Delhi. that sir I was a student of M.Sc. Ecology & Environment under SMU but due to my problem I failed to complete the course and again I desire to get readmission and the counselor of IIEE arranged to get admission in Global Open University. But as they informed me that further correspondence will be done in due course of time, but till to-date no correspondence received from your end. I got worried and tried to get over phone but all the phone nos. are not working which I got from the earlier ( 2009) admission form. I also tried the phone nos. of Global Open University, Dimapur & Kohima office to discuss the matter but no body respond and most of the time I found not in existence status, e-mail was also sent in their address but no reply.Now from the web I got this address and a lady from aparindia learning center, Delhi helped me too.My name is Bablu Dey & earlier ID no. of SMU is [protected]D 0f 2003. i have given 6th semester exam in july 2011, and also i got selected in state pre-mca exam with 9th rank and its counselling is about to start, and i am eligible if and only if i present 6th semester marksheet net copy during counselling. I took admission in center Future Point laxminagar center code 00923.They have running it with a cheap level business as if someone bargains they get admission in 15000 and you don't bargain you would get in 18000.This is my final semester and they are saying you will have to pay 150 extra as the exam has been online and fee has been hiked and 300 for certificates but nothing was written to me while i had taken admission...but the exam was taken like students were standing in a very compact room there were around 50 students looking into others system.I have a nightmare pursuing MCA from this center.my enrollment number is[protected].Please do something to get it stopped and to be followed certain specific criteria.

The complaint that appears first on this forum is something that I totally agree with. I enrolled for BA eng hons at the kalkaji center on 25august2011. The person I had been talking to 'Kamal', before taking the admission told me that the first semester exams were going to be in january and the day when i go for the admission I'll get the study material. I went to take the admission, and they said that books are unavailable now and would be coming shortly. I was surprised because before the admission she kept saying constantly that I'll get the study material same day. 1 week passed, 2weeks, 3 weeks and every week I called I got some excuse or the other. 1 month passed, I called again on 5/10/2011 and some other lady picked up the call this time. Said to me that Kamal was unavailable/busy and that there was an error. they accidently ordered the study material for BA pass. Heights o[censored]nprofessionalism and a stupid excuse that they ordered the books for BA pass instead. Who would be responsible about my results for the exams that will be held in january for which I dont even have the study material. Noone has bothered to give me any details about the course. They even said within 15days I'll get the user id and password for their website where I'll get access to onliine study material. All of it was a big lie. oone even bothers to look at you or inform you about anything after you've paid the admission fees. I am definitely going to log a complaint with the police if I dont get the study material within a weeks time. I wonder how this university is managing distance learning with so many centers where people are not even getting the study material. I am terrified with my experience with SMU distance learning.

I'm pursuing BAJM from smu Noida center. I want to change my learning center. please tell me the procedure.

Reason: There are no faculty for my subjects in the center. The member of my center so rude. I talk to her two times but she behaved me very badly. When I had to take admission the same lady (Poonam Insoft Managment Institute, Sector-10 Noida) called me several times in polite way...after admission she talk to VERY RUDELY. Actually I need an education loan, while I went there for admission I clearly told them that I'm pursuing some other course so I need an education loan. Mr Israr Alam one of them, told me that you need to complete one sem after that we will proceed for loan process by ourselves, you will not have to do anything "added". Now I completed my 1st sem and following them from 1 month.

Please suggest me how can I change my learning center. What should I do for education loan procedure.

I'm studying for BAJM from SMU, Insoft Managment Institute sec-10 Noida-201301.
I'm facing some serious problem in this learning center. When they called me for admission the lady was very polite and the Director of the center Mr Piyoush called me so many times for admission. Now the lady, Ms Poonam is behaving very badly to me.

Matter is that when I went there for admission I clearly told them that I'm pursuing another course so I need an education loan. Mr. Israr Alam told me that, "If you will complete 1 semester will will talk to our university and we will do all process, you will not have to do something, because you will be our student." Now I have completed 1 semester and registration session is going on.

I'm following them from 1 month for education loan. I went to center so many time. I talk to them as well. But they were just passing my time, I don't know why. Today (3-Jan-12), I called them, finally Mr Piyush (Director of the center) told me to call Ms Poonam, but mr Israr Alam was on the line, the same guy who committed about education loan, talked me in bad manner and very rudely and Ms. Poonam told me that you have to do everything in your own way. We are not responsible for anything, even you have to talk to university for document and all.

I'm very disappointing, now what to do.

I'm requesting you please tell me how can I complain about it. I want to change my center where I can study properly. And please suggest me how can I get education loan.

Yes, even I have started experiencing the same .I still remember at the time of admission the staf[censored]se to say " help-desk worry, we will inform you each and every thing on time " But now its like, they want us to followup every day for study material, assignment questions, exam time table --- when we call the help desk - u can get u hear an argument saying .."You should have called us " bloody hell -- this is not why we do distance learning -- I am a manager in one of the top 10 companies in the world - have got lot of deliverable to do --- I am wondering why these people cant email us --- does it take a long ...

I am a student of Sikkim Manipal University Distance Education
Programmee from Center code:01637. I am pursuing
MBA course in distance and has not availed the class option available
at learning center as I am working as Software Consultant and lack of
time. At the time of admission, I was told no extra fee is required as
I am not availing class. My Exam is schedule to start from[protected]
onwards, and now I am being informed by the learning center to pay extra fees
because I have not availed the class option in order to
qualify to sit for exam.This I think is some
kind of student harassment and unlawful as nothing was written or
mentioned in admission form or documents provided by the center. If
this kind of illegitimate demands are made student will loose faith
towards the university like me, as I have already decided not to
continue with the course further from the university and skip the exam
with no choice left.
At the end I can only conclude, that my total fees for 1st semester
was taken & I feel being cheated.

Course materials are not upto the mark, same applies to examination also, The whole system is such a worst system. Send an offer to sikkim manipal university that is something like this,

Day by day the services provided by them is deterioting..n to add up the study centre is least cooperative.seems as if they r not providing education but growing there business.we are force to pay the centre fees inspite of the fact that we are not taking any facilities.at most of times they provide misleading information.n if complained the centre-in-charge becomes too aggresive and is unwilling to accept there mistakes.have to visit 3 times to collect my re-registration receipt cause they have got some problem with there printer..have to enquire about study material almost everyday..hv done registration 1 month ago..but not yet received study material..god help us.its so frustartion..my centre code is 02848

I am surprised after seeing result of MBA 2nd sem. who deserve for good mark they can't got high score and who doesn't deserve they got good marks when i am giving my exam so one girl siiting next to me she take just 20 min. in each paper and 6 back log she got upto 70% and one girl who has clear all subject in previous sem. she didn't get good marks so that's a proof 2nd Sem MBA paper leaked at offline mode please stop offline mode that's a full of cheating method to hard worker students

I am a student at Sikkim Manipal university at Bangalore JP nagar Branch which is run by a institute called Ssystems Quest . I have had a bad experience with this university and learning center, the LC is mean, greedy for money and shamelessly cheat people for money, Lier is like their policy, before admissions you are promised 100s of things which and after admission and payment they say we have never said such things, They purposely dont inform us about the admission dates so that they could collect fine from the students. I brought this to the attention of the Directory of the learning centre and he infact supported the representative there saying we have informed you about the resitting in advance., I received an email having incomplete information so replied back copying the LC group, director however did not receive any update and lately on 12 I receive an reply saying the last date is today(but the last date was 11th).
worst part their websites are not updated, I have been regularly checking the site results.smude.edu.in and there is no last date mentioned (mentioned as NA) so i contacted the LC and got no response., on calling them no one receive the call and mostly it was busy/engaged. I reached out to the representative who got me admitted and after several tries she answered the call and said last date is over and you can appear fr 3rd sem backlogs in next sem in feb, I said its unfair without informing me how can you say its over, then she promises me she will talk to director and the university and will get me resitting done for nov 2012, avoided my calls for another 3 days and 4th day the director of the LC answers the call and says it was clearly informed that the date is 11th sep '12(which was not).
The director of the Learning centre itself is behaving this way so I do not know whom to approach. please let me know if there is any way I could escalate this issue and get a waiver and fill resitting form for nov 12.

we take admission in offline mode in 2012 MA history, now it convert to online mode, what we do we allready pay 03 sem fee to the smu it creat problem to me i have no speed to type it lapse my clear 40 marks of written who is responsible for that . it play with the student carrier...

I am the student of Sikkim Manipal distance university and appearing for the 3rd semester in Operation Management from MULUND branch .
Their is one more branch in Thane which is near to me instead of Mulund branch after second semester i would like to change my branch but because of your some procedure i am not able to change the branch.
But now the Thane branch which is comes under the same University they are providing some Exam notes which is useful to all students for the exam which is we are not getting and if we ask for the same notes to our branch they said refer the books only which not the proper answer because if the students are having a time to refer or read whole the books they would have not joint the part time & distance MBA from your university, if we ask for the notes to the Thane branch they said this notes is only for our branches students not for the other branches students though it is the same university of SIKKIM MANIPAL.

Why this differentiate between the student if the UNIVERSITY is same, if this will be continue then no one would like to refer their friends to your UNIVERSITY.

I hope i will get any suggestion for this.

I have taken the admission in Sikkim Manipal University in June 2013. But In this period it has been expired the recognition of DEC list. SMU is not in the list o[censored]cch shiksh Vibhag.(According to Patrika, raipur Date 2/7/2013 "Patrika Expose") I have paid the 14000.00 rs. for 1st Semester(MCA). Will SMU return my money ? What should i do ?

They are only making money. warning for all buddy if you carrier slow don't wast your time on smu distance other wise your carrier will too slow just like me. i think your carrier will finished just like me. you will not able to pass program from Smu distance learning just like me. you will just waist your here.

Yes, I do believe this Bcoz, even I had come across the same issue. I was a IBM employee. The Karrox people had approached us for the the distance learning program. Them the executive gave me the details and the offers that I would have recieved from the Karrox/Sikkim and they said that the guy will visit my place and get me registered, whihc never happened. He said that I would receive my learning kit delivered at my home address for no cost. They will help me with the DVDs for classroom session. and also many other things.
I then raised my issues with the concerned team with Karrox but was resolved way after and the learning kit was delivered 15 days before my exam. this continued for to semesters. Then a guy called Ajay helped me out. he was very helpful. Then again there were some new situations.

i do agree because i'm going through the same condition due to falsely reporting my case as malpractice by exam supervisor due to his ego and bias. they have declared my last subject's result as "Null & Void" even after every effort of mine of proving my innocence. the disciplinary committee didn't pay any heed to the facts. the exam supervisor's presentation is considered as God's words by the authority and they don't allow any appeal against the committee's decision.

can anyone please help me in this. it's really painful when we working professionals devote very scarce time for study and find ourselves in such conditions even after not doing anything wrong. we devoid our family of our time which they deserved. i'm really feeling very hurt and disappointed.

don't know what to do now, even after getting 74% mark, my grade is declared as "E".

hope that someone will be there to lend a hand of help :-).
