Hi, i am student of final sem mba by distance.
Now university has decided to conduct exam at his own state as per high court order. University is snatching our right.
I think this is not comes under distance learning system.
I am not able to come at sikkim as it is so far from delhi ncr.
I don't have money to come at sikkim. University should take full responsibility to conduct exam at that center what i have choosen earlier.

Dear sir/madam,

As per the message received from the university side that the exams are going to be held in sikkim now, the first thing why i opt for distance education because i can continue my education while working to pay off my expenses and also contribute to my parents.

Which also allows me to take a half-day off in my current city and appear in the examination, but now it becomes a problem to me that i can not take leave for at least two weeks to appear for exams in sikkim,

My employer will not allow me to do that and if there is any issue towards conducting exams outside sikkim, it's no problem of students you have to get some other solution otherwise i have to think something else,

I am helpless, i cant appear for exams in sikkim, do help me and sort this issue.

I m in 4th semester and pursuing mba.. I am from ahmedabad gujarat and it is not possible for me to go to sikkim to give exams.. The mistakes are from your end and we students have to suffer because of your mistakes and court cases.
I enrolled in sikkim manipal for mba as it has a centre in ahmedabad and now u gave a message stating that exam will be conducted in sikkim. Such behaviour is not acceptable. I m trying to contact at the help desk but there is no response stating"student councellor is attending calls of other students.."
Guide for every semester calls to help students upto 2nd semester and ask their queries but as we reach to 3rd and 4th semester no one calls to take note of students or help for queires.. Also after the change of location of exam centre also the guide appointed for the students should have called to help students but such help is also not provided from your end.. Just a message forwarded that give your preference month for exam in sikkim..
Helpdesk is not responding to calls and giving messages that u have still not given your preference for exam.
Kindly arrange for the same exam centres that were chosen at the time of admission in sikkim manipal university for already enrolled students.
Waiting for a positive response from your end.

Firstly they were delaying the examination from last year august and now they have totally changed the centre, now they are centre in sikkim, i am staying in kolkata and its not possible for me to go to sikkim and give exam. I have spend lot of money and years to get the certificate, now they are just playing with it.
I request you to take immediate strict action against it.

I got a call from citi bank credit card department of vani mobile number +91-[protected] & +91-[protected] as well as received whats app sms from number +91-[protected].
She said between signa manipal and citi bank has been tie up.
If i purchase helth insurence from signa manipal then behalf on this citi bank credit card will issued.

But now the are refusing and not responding call and sms.

So i request you to please track them and expose both.

Sikkim manipal university is forcing students to travel to sikkim to take exams. I opted for distance mba then whats the point? I want me fees to be refunded. University is delaying it since october 2019 with no updates provided proactively. Students are reaching out to university since oct 2019. Most of the mba students are working, housewifes, mothers. They just cant leave and fly to sikkim that too on their own expense. There is no point of distance education. This is so frustrating and disaapointing.

Myself shiny here with the registration number :[protected] has appeared for to resit exam of bt0044 subject.

As promised by smu helpdesk guys they had been informed that exam will be conducted in the month of aug later during phone calls they had told sep first week now when i call up they are telling october. I had been calling smu helpdesk guys regularly but it was of no use. People in helpdesk are just useless without giving proper update nor helping students. I stay in muscat (Oman country) so as per update i had taken planned my holidays and due to this single exam i took holidays from feb to sep i hope thats s very long term, now as the university is not yet conferring the date its very very difficult to stay much long in india. I just have a single exam left out to get my bsc it certificate, as u people promised i stayed in india for such long time. Now you guys are no confirming date nor helping student, so daily talking to helpdesk was of bull # job they r uttter failures.

Now as student i request the university to help me in above case as i had to badly move from india to muscat.
How can i get my bsc certificate what can i do???

Need reply...?? Asap...
Give me permission to write exam from abroad or tell me some other way what can i do to pass my exam to get my certificate i really cannot wait further

This is suresh here i am using my tata docomo sim from past 10 years
There is no problem but suddenly there is no market for tatadococmo due to jio emrged in market and all tatasocomo stores are shutdowned with inform anything to customers and now we are facing the problem due to there is no network coneection for my tatadocomo number -[protected]
And i attched my aadhar and other banking related quaries to that number
And currenlty there is no response from tatadocomo because there no point of person to contact any body and please help me to reactivate my tatadocomo number and help me use that number for further

So please tell me how I will receive my degree, I stay in other state and cant go to learning centre at Allahabad.
I need to submit it to my new company for job please help

Your Degree certificate has been dispatched to LC-02924on July 07, 2011 through blue dart, Cong no: [protected].

But while enquiring at learning center at Allahabad, civil lines they are saying not received it
So please tell me how I will receive my degree, I stay in other state and cant go to learning centre at Allahabad.
I need to submit it to my new company for job please help

I riya mariyam john student of smu (2014 august - 2018 august) registration no [protected], enrolled for this program through erstwhile university authorized study centre - muthoot college of allied health sciences and management studies (Lc 59064). When i am joined for the course, the university representative said that “smu will give you a regular model (That means never mention directorate of distance education in the degree certificate)” from that time i see that in my senior students bsc mlt degree certificate, dde is not mentioned. And also in my friends degree certificates it is not mentioned; but i received the degree certificate in same year, in my degree certificate, with a bold letter mentioned directorate of distance education. It is directly affecting my career now a days, i lost so many job vacancies in abroad because of this issue, i am really hard worked to get b grade for my degree. At the same time my co-students get the older version degree certificate, they have not noticed this issue in their career. I studied not only a degree course. Bsc mlt is a professional degree, when the university mention dde in the certificates the other countries will reject our job applications.

I clearly understand that distance education degrees in the india are equal to the formal system of education in india, by ugcs public notice f. No. 1-9/2018 (Deb-i) dated on 23rd february. And also i understood that ugc’s meeting held on 2nd september 2016 has decided that all universities reflect the mode of delivery of program in their all educational documents and the letter published in ugc’s website on 31st october 2016, from this statement smu is not followed the decision from the notification date. Smu already handover old format certificate till january 2017 i have so many evidence for this also. I get certificate on august 2018 with mentioned dde in my certificate, in 2018 year smu gives different type format certificates, i need the old version;

Academic year: 2014 august 2018 august

Kindly replace my degree certificate gives from university and solve my issue as soon as possible. Note: rectify my issue and give me the previous version of degree certificate, and also give me the address to dispatch my original certificate.

I am studying bpt at sikkim manipal institute of medical sciences, 2015 batch, yet i am still studying in 2nd year. I haven't attended classes since 1 year and i have paid my fees till 3rd year and now i wish to withdraw from the course, i was said to pay 50% of tuition fees of final year. What is the actual policy of withdrawing? Do i have to pay?

This mail was to bring in the notice that i was perusing my BSC IT through SMU Distance Learning .As i have cleared all my papers other than the above paper mentioned.As i was working i had not been in touch to the centers .Now i want to finish of my degree, I had been serching the exam centers in banglore for very long time but could not find and was also trying the helpline number which dosen't respond .So kindly request you to let me know how to proceed further.

I am not able to move forward in academics just due to this exam, So please take necessary action

I am student of smu mba semester 2 i have got results of semester 2 on 1 november 2018, in that marketing subject it was given failed but marketing is such a subject which is very easy for me in which i am sure i can never fail so gave the results for re-evaluation on 2/11/2018 today ie. On 13/12/2018 the result is the same after paying the amount rs.250 per paper they have not checked & declared as failed. When i called up their customer care they are saying no senior is available & we can not do anything in this. So again i have to pay them money for re exam & again i have to waste my 1 day for giving the paper.

I need solution for this i dont have extra money to waste like this.

I am student i have done my graduation and started my carrer i work for a nominal pay for month andi decided to go for mba to increase my chances of my carrer and i had a word with sikkim manipal university the counsler her name was neha who was my counsler and represntative for smu but as i paid the amount for the first semester in the month feb so after 1 month she got disappeared and i got call form his senior named avinash from okhla industrial area it self he gave me a welcome call and then hung up since that day i am unable to communicate ith avinash or with that girl neha who was my councelor but the main issue which i am facing here is that i got to know about the companies and many mncs company who do not consider the degree of mba given by smu so that is why i do not want to continue with them any more beacause the degree they are going to provide me after spending my two years and 1 lac inr so that is not going to be helpful for in any way so why would any 1 would soend money and time in such deal of loss so i want to take my money back which is the amount 18, 750 /- for the first sem.
And now they are teasing me for this process as i am asking them to refund my money beacause i have to tae the admission in the ifcai institute which is located in delhi janak puri and deffence colony, so i need to pay them for my admission but smu is wasting myu time of studies and giving me mental pressure and harrasment as well.
So i am hoping from consumer court to provide me assistance and justince in this regards please that would be really helpful as i belong to a poor faimly i do not have money a lott
So i can keep smu my money with them..

I have completed my MBA in Marketing in 2014 From SMy Edunext, Hitech City, hyderabad centre, under Roll no. [protected].
After My completion of programme I didnt get my marksheet and degree, and later on I got to know that the centre is shifted and the other centre in Hyderabad have not details about same. then i called customer care who asked me to drop a mail. I did sae but there was no response.
Its been 5 years No one have ever contacted me regarding the same. And in my CV I cant show anywhere that I have done MAB as don't have any degree.

I suggest to new users that don't waste your time and money with SMU Distance learning.

I my son have applied for btech course at manipal university. During fourth round of counseling he was allotted ece branch at mu jaipur on 4.7.18. I have paid fees rs.295000/-and booked the seat in a hope that he will get cse in next round..
Later he was not allowed cse branch in next round and decided to withdraw the seat. I called at mu jaipur as there was no option at online candidate portal on 13.7.2018. A representative of mu jaipur told that only online can be applied for withdrawal.. I told him that there is no option for withdrawal than he told me to call back after discussion with admission section. I again called there on 14.7.2018 repeatedly... But he told that only online withdrawal can be done.
Later on 18.7.18 i personally visited manipal jaipur and shifted a written application... But they refused to accept it and given me a call centre number and mail id of manipal university, manipal.
On 19.7.18 i sent a mail at mu manipal and called at call centre... After that correspondence is given in mail... Call centre call records were also sent to mu jaipur..

However still university not refunded my deposited fees.

I am left with two semesters, 4th and 6th. So i had applied and made the payment for both the semesters after speaking to sikkim manipal customer care people because they never said that i will not be able to give both the papers together and they never said about clashing of exam semesters. Now there is clash of semesters and i can give only one paper. I called up customer care so many times and i was confirmed that i can give both the semesters but no-one told me about the clash of papers. Now, 4th semester and 6th semester are on the same day which is 18th, 19th, 22nd and 23rd aug 2018. I spoke to vishal kumar on 06/08/2018 and i was told that my 4th semesters exam can be rescheduled without paying any extra. I want to make sure that it is done so that i can give my 4th semester exam.
If not then please arrange for my refund.

Misconduct of information by your representatives.
I have rescheduled my exams due to health issues after getting confirmation from your (Representatives) end that my first sem exams will not clash with my second sem which isn’t actually happening now.
Secondly they confirmed that smu have center in meerut and which ain’t happening you have thrown me to ghaziabad outskirt college can you really check the distance from meerut to ghaziabad hi tech institute and i have to follow it for 6 days and then i have to prepare for next two exams which will be held on next days.
And third, nobody bother to inform me that exams will be computerised.
Just fyi i am working in an it company thats why i have enrolled myself in distance plan so i expect some flexibility from your end. Am i expecting much?

And you know what smu is only distance university which is not flexible and work on its own condition if i would be aware of it previously i wouldn’t have enrolled in the same and would have opted other institute.

And even when i asked to escalate this i didn’t even get any call from your end.

Reason which i want to a refund back or move me to next session so that i can give exams without any clashes.
