Dear all, i had taken admission in smude m. Sc. It on 12-jan-2018 and paid rs. 17900 but due to financial problems and time issues i could not continue with the course and after 1 months i demanded for refund. But they denied saying we can't refund you. They have basically done nothing. Still they want to keep my hard earned money. I want my money back from this fraud university. User id[protected]

I Joshua Mathew Student of SMU (2013 August- 2017 August) Registration No [protected], Enrolled for this program through erstwhile University Authorized Study Centre- Muthoot College of Allied Health Sciences and Management Studies (LC 59064). When I am joined for the course, the University representative said that “SMU will give you a Regular model (That means never mention Directorate of Distance Education in the Degree Certificate)” from that time I see that in my senior students BSc MIT Degree Certificate, DDE is not mentioned. And also in my friends Degree certificates it is not mentioned; but I received the degree certificate in same year, in my degree certificate, with a bold letter mentioned Directorate of Distance Education. It is directly affecting my Career now a days, I lost so many Job Vacancies in Abroad because of this Issue, I am really Hard worked to get B Grade for my degree. At the same time my co-students get the older version degree certificate, they have not noticed this issue in their career. I studied not only a degree course. BSc MIT is a professional degree, when the university mention DDE in the certificates the other countries will reject our job applications.

I clearly understand that Distance Education Degrees in the India are equal to the formal system of education in India, by UGCs public notice F.No. 1-9/2018 (DEB-I) dated on 23rd February. And also I understood that UGC’s Meeting held on 2nd September 2016 has decided that all Universities reflect the mode of delivery of program in their all educational documents and the letter published in UGC’s Website on 31st October 2016, From this statement SMU is not followed the decision from the notification date. SMU already handover old format certificate till January 2017 I have so many evidence for this also. I get certificate on August 2017 with mentioned DDE in my certificate, In 2017 year SMU gives different type format certificates, I need the old version;

Kindly replace my degree certificate gives from University and solve my Issue as soon as possible. Note: Rectify my Issue and give me the Previous Version of Degree Certificate, and also give me the address to dispatch my Original Certificate.

I have contacted the helpdesk many times. They say it will announce results along with written exams results which is already delayed by two months and that will happen after 2 months from now. So total 6 months of delay in announcing the results and they say another 3-4 months in getting certificates. So in total 8-10 months delay even though i completed all semester exams.

I suggest not to go for this university as they will trouble you in each step. Slow or no response is their strategy for avoiding you. no accountability.

Please avoid this university at all cost.

Hello my name is sachin arora my enrollment no. is [protected] i joined smu mba programme in june/july 2015 till yet i didnt received any notification for exams or anything smhow i manage to search old document and given resitting fees again and appeared for my exams in end of 2017 and i cleared that exams also. now again same thing happens with me i paid for 2nd semester again no updates about exams or anything EITHER REFUND MY COMPLETE MONEY OR TAKE REST OF MONEY FROM ME AND GIVE ME MY DEGREE PLEASE ITS A REQUEST BUT PLEASE DONE MAKE FOLL OF ME AGAIN AND AGAIN.

I have sent dd and application form of re validation and i got conformation also from your end that you have received but still i have not get the books.

Your team said that i will get the books after 15 days of payment.

Payment was received by you on 4th june and still not get the books and id card.

Examination is so near and i have short time for preparation.

As we are working ppl, we won;t be able to carry the book all the place, instead, it would be good, if we get online access to the books,.

Also, my internal assignments is pending as it is not visible under my login.

Hello sir/madam,

I am scheduled for my mba - hr second semester exams from 16-february-2018, for which i have received the online booking system. During my last semester i faced an issue where i was alloted for exam center which was located in the outskirts of gurgaon and i didn't even had conveyance to go due to which i had to miss all my exams. Just to avoid that situation i applied for center change for which i have paid 500/- to change my location from gurgaon to south delhi but there is no center that is located in south delhi. Now when i am applying for my second semester exams i am facing the issues of exam date and timing again. I am getting the same date and timing for all my exams for first semester and second semester papers.
All i have is 2 dates and 2 time slots available for 8 subjects of mine, which is technically not possible for anyone to cover.

Help me out with this.

I have cleared all my exam and now synopsis is pending. I have uploaded synopsis and guide detail in required format multiple times. Every time its got rejected with feedback - guide's qualification not attached.

However, its attached on second page (1st page for experience and 2nd mba qualification).

What should i do, please help or suggest any contact number for the same. It would be great help from you. Thanks

Dear sir/madam,

I am a already student of sikkim manipal university and admission from your nagpur learning center i am given the complaints about your university. Your university calling to customer only for new admission and after admission your center and your customer care not help and not give the proper answer. My few subjects are back also my semister only for your call center and learning center. I need to clear my semister and all pending subjects.
I need to discussion with smu head for changes in examination patter.

I siensyntiew blah from nongpoh (Meghalaya) have long cleared the m. Sc. (Ecology & environment) distance course from the university and have applied for the migration certificate in october, 2017 last. All necessary documents and demand draft have been sent by registered post addressed to the registrar of the university but till date i have not received the certificate nor any response regarding the matter. Kindly do the needful from your end as i urgently need it for my admission in another university.

I finished my mba from sikkim manipal university but i didn't receive by the original certificate. So i contact university by its costumer customer care no they told me that they have the same. Will send me for that need to do a mail to the given mail id. From december 1st itself i done the mail. As the costumer care word that will replay with 48 hrs. But didn't get any replay. Agin i tried customer care they told me didn't receive the mail. I done the mail and confirmed the mail is received. But i am still waiting no response from the other end. I have no much time to wait because this is for about my job.

Wrong uias code is mentioned on my bba degree certificate, and as mentioned on degree certificate, i visited www.uias.org website to verify my uias code. When i entered my uias code metioned on certificate and clicked on authenticate, it showed it is invalid uias code. Is this some kind of fraud or what? Why my degree is not valid? I have done bba through correspondence smude (Sikkim manipal university distance education) and completed whole process patiently and now when i have finally got my degree, it has wrong uias code. Please check what is going on, as they don't even reply on time when i mailed them regarding same.

I applied for my second semester mba-hr. I was informed i will receive my study material within 15days of my fee payment. Its been over a month i still didn't received any study material along with fact that they never respond to emails and calls. I always have to ask myself about updates. Along with this they always have excuses that "it happened because of this and that, we must have not provided right query."

Dear sir/ mam,

Greetings!!

I am an indian national working in dubai enrolled in bsc in safety and fire management program with sikkim manipal university distance learning.

It’s been 4 times that i upload my project and requested to arrange viva. Every time in the result it showed me as absent in the project. The project has to be uploaded online and i did it every time and no viva related information or update was given to me.

One of my friends living in abu dhabi was also enrolled for the same program and for his project he got a telephonic call for viva.

I filed many complaints, every time they ask me to re-register. I did so and now this time they replied that your project report was successfully received and send your skype details to this email address. (Ia. [protected]@smudde. Edu.in). I did as they asked me to do.

Then, as per the result declared on 26/09/2017 again it is showing that i was absent for my project sf0060 in theory and viva. But as i have already uploaded my project and have a confirmation of project receiving was waiting for their viva confirmation. How can they do this every time?

I filed complaint again and this time they are not responding to my complaints and i am feeling helpless.

Mark sheet and complaint reply attached with this incident report. Please help as i have to submit my documents to current company urgently. I have a great pressure on me.
