This is what happened with all the students of fall session 2017. After taking admission, we were assigned an academic adviser, who are nothing but worthless. These so called advisers have no idea about the study materials, examination formats, assignment formats, examination dates or anything as such. The only thing that they know is to call the students when they need to get any payment. My advisers name is anupam. And unfortunately, he is no exception. He called me just 1 day before the examination date was declared by smu, but still had no idea about the exam dates. Again this adviser called me on 2nd week of july asking whether i had completed submitting all my assignment papers or not, whereas the last date of submission was 15th of june. Still he wanted to claim that he is a responsible adviser. I am not sure whether his brain functions properly or not.

Anyways, let me come to what smu did. We were always told since the time of taking the admission that 1st semester examinations will be held in the month of august. All of a sudden on 14th of june, it was declared that examination will be held on 28th of june. The courses were completed by smu. None of classes, that were promised by smu at the time of admission, took place. Although, we agreed to this sudden decision of smu. However, a wonderful news came to us on 27th of june that the examination on 28th has been cancelled. When all the students got their admit card and got their examination centers selected, this news came from smu just 15 hours before the examination was supposed to start, that our examination has got cancelled. It seemed to us that smu is not a university, it is simply a money making organisation which is being run at the whims of the board of directors.

On further inquiry, we came to know that smu does not have the approval from ugc to conduct examinations until they meet their proposed guidelines. And the guidelines are such that they cannot be met so easily within a month's time. And now, smu is asking us to register for the next semester by paying rs. 17, 000. So, if smu would have known these guidelines, why did they take admission? This seems to be an example of fraudulent activity.

Since smu cannot provide a proper education and the degree certificates, i want my money back. I have paid a total sum of rs. 14, 760 till date. I want this total amount to be refunded back to me with immediate effect.
