I am writing to express my serious concern and dissatisfaction with the experience I have had with both the product quality and after-sales service for my recently purchased Skoda Slavia Ambition car.

• Dealer: M/s Jay Skoda, Bhicaji Cama Place, New Delhi
On 06/07/2025, while returning from my hometown, I encountered torrential rain. To my shock, the front windshield wipers suddenly stopped functioning, putting my safety at serious risk. Due to zero visibility and dangerous road conditions, I was forced to spend the night near a roadside Dhaba. I resumed travel only the next morning under reduced rainfall conditions and somehow reached my residence safely.
Subsequently, I contacted the authorized Workshop Manager, Namely Mr. Ashwani, I was informed that the wiper motor had burnt out. However, Mr. Ashwani stated that the motor would only be repaired, not replaced, despite the fact that my car is under warranty and is just over four months old.
I insisted that the wiper motor should be replaced, as repairing such a critical component in a brand-new car is unacceptable. At this point, the Mr. Ahswani behanved unprofessionally, causing me great distress and frustration.
My Expectations:
• Immediate replacement my car and new should be provided.
• Strict action against the service center staff who behaved in an unprofessional manner.
• A clear explanation as to why such a critical failure occurred in a new vehicle.
• Written assurance that such lapses in quality and service will not be repeated.
I trusted Skoda for its quality and customer service, but this experience has been highly disappointing. I request your urgent intervention and resolution of this matter within 7 working days, failing which I will be compelled to escalate the issue to higher consumer grievance authorities.
