I got a text message and WhatsApp message from an unknown number. I have deleted the whatsapp message instinctively.

The summary of both the messages is, "Your loan amount is due today. Pay to avoid penalties, else we will inform all your contacts." They are sending app links with the message. I have downloaded the app. While doing setup in mobile, they clearly asking all the accesses on mobile. I found it fishy and and deleted it later.
