This is in reference to the issues faced by all students at the Soil School of Business Design, Gurugram; the college administration is uninterested in resolving student issues and creating problems for students in the final semester. There is no transparency in the semester results; grades are intentionally downgraded and biassed. Students are placed, but their offer letters are revoked due to a low CGPA percentage, which is intentionally downgraded by management. There is only one person responsible for the entire controller of examination board, from conducting exams to distributing results, so there is no transparency that the results declared are accurate. This has been observed by some recent events: when individual students from the faculties are asked about their performance and grades, they are good, but when the results come in, they are completely different, and no one from management is willing to answer our questions. We attempted to reach out to management via email, but no response was ever received. This college, despite being a management college, lacks management and student support. A basic 60% is required by companies for the placement process, and more than half of the batch has been placed; students had more than 60% until the fourth semester, but the results were intentionally downgraded for vague reasons; there was a subject called Preparation for Selection Interview that was specifically designed to assist students with placement preparation, and it was worth zero credits; It was also requested that students who are placed miss these sessions because they are placed, and we students who were placed missed these sessions because there was no point in attending these sessions, but now the semester 5 results have arrived, and these people have included preparation for selection interview in the results with a total of 3.5 credits (Preparation for selection interview I - 1.5 credits and Preparation for selection interview II - 2 credits) due to w We students on the verge of a career are dealing with these ridiculous management issues that no one cares to answer or resolve. This portal was the last option for finding a solution to our problems because we had exhausted all other options. Was this information helpful? |
