On 24th Feb 2024, I went for 4th service of my vehicle to Royal Enfield workshop. The front desk employee who was registering the vehicles spoke rudely with me and entered into argument. He asked me to come at 4 pm to collect vehicle, however i insisted that I will wait here for 1-2 hour and collect the vehicle instead of going & coming back from home again.
After some time, he came back and again said to all customers that we will not accept credit cards as machine is not working. On which, I said that I don't have any other mode of payment, hence he has to fix the issue. He again started argument on this & started speaking loudly. On which I told him that calm down else I will call police. He told that you do whatever you want as I am not scared of police. He also called me "Mad" during this conversation.
On this, I opened up my mobile camera and started recording the video. As he noticed that I am recording the video, he came forcefully and tried to snatch my mobile and also tried to hit me in front of other customers and his collegues. His other collegues stopped him, else he would have hitted me hard.
After this incident, I called his manager and explained him entire situation and shown the video. On which, he didn't took any action against that employee and on the contrary started arguing with me that there are other mode of payments and hence i should have not made issue due to non functioning of credit card machine. He was not ready to understand the fact that his staff is mishandling the customer and trying to threaten and beat him in open.
I also explained the same situation with Customer Relationship Manager, but she also did'nt took any action and asked me to submit the written complain on paper.

The overall approach of this organization towards customers is wrong. They don't understand the gravity of issue and listen them.

I request to take action against the workshop management so that they can recruit proper employees & train them on regular basis on how to treat with their customers.
