I travelled with my family on 19th October from Kochi to Pondicherry by Sri Ganesh Transports ticket booked via Abhi Bus. It was a horrible journey. The bus driver initially said he will come at right time at 7:50 pm to my boarding point, but did not come. When I called, he said he will come 45 minutes later due to passenger delay, but again did not show up. When I called him, he said it will take another 45 minutes to reach my spot due to rain, and again did not come after 45 minutes. When I called him at 9 p.m., he said it is getting late due to traffic jam and it will take another 30 minutes to reach my spot as he is 18 km away and again did not come. When I called, he said he is 25 km away and will come soon. Every time he said a different reason for the delay. Finally, the bus arrived at 9:45 and we boarded the bus after waiting for more than 2 hours.
Midway they changed the bus by 4:30 a.m. and by then only I saw the bus was not running in usual Coimbatore Salem or Trichy route, instead the bus is running around Palani, Dindigul route. After changing the bus, they started at 4:45 a.m., then the bus was running continuously for 9 hours without stopping for breakfast or tea and they continued to all small cities like Vadalur etc and reached Pondicherry by 1 p.m. We were in the bus for more than 15 hours. While booking the arrival time to Pondicherry was mentioned as 6 a.m., but they arrived at 1 p.m. nearly 7 hours late. When I called Abhibus, they said, we are not responsible for bus delays; We are only a booking platform. When I called Sri Ganesh Transports, they said different reasons for each time I called. Once they said, Abhibus wrongly put the time in the message.
However, when I again asked them that let Abhibus put the wrong timing, why did your driver said that he will come exactly at 7:50 but didn't come even after 2 hours, then they said some other reason. Why these bus operators are these much lethargic. They made me and my family wait at roadside for more than 2 hours at boarding point. Again they drove the bus for more than 15 hours and made us starve without our breakfast. Very poor transport SRI GANESH TRANSPORTS booked via ABHIBUS platform. Public be cautious when you book tickets. Do not book tickets from unfair travels like SRI GANESH TRANSPORTS and do not rely on Abhibus as well as they are simply ignoring passenger problems that they are not responsible for the issues in the bus.
Public rely upon Abhibus platform for bus booking as we do not know the travels directly. So, how can the Abhibus say that they are not responsible. They should have some responsibility as we are paying Abhibus as well for getting better service. Nearly I paid six thousand for three tickets and had a hectic travel because of these irresponsible and senseless transport service people. Horrific SRI GANESH TRANSPORTS AND ABHIBUS ticket booking experience for me and my family..
