We went on a trip to andaman. It was a nightmare. I will never travel with these cheats again and strongly advice others the same. Their agent named arvind in west mambalam didn’t provide any clear details. He was reluctant to answer questions which i guess is b/c he had no clue. Adding fuel to the fire are other agents anandi and gautam at the madurai branch who were of no help. None of them replied to our whatsapp messages once payment went through. They have set up an agent named raja in andaman who in turn has set up a sub agent called surya who in turn has set up several agents that rent cars with drivers. Everytime something went wrong, they pointed fingers and didn’t take responsibility for it. They never were prompt. They never talked to us about our daily plans. Everything was at random. We were left at their mercy. We complained about this to sm travels from andaman but they never even bothered to take action. I solely blame sri murugan travels since they were our primary agents who should have taken utmost care in choosing the right agents in andaman but instead delivered poor service. We didn’t go on the havelock trip since they changed it to baratang. Sm travels declined to refund the rs 1000 per person boat a/c charges that they took for havelock. Moreover one of our fellow passengers who joined in last was charged only rs 17000 whereas we were charged rs 24000. No uniformity in pricing. There was no guide to help us most of the time. We had a guide just one day who had poor knowledge. The worst of all is hotel vintage they made us stay in. It was full of cockroaches. The hotel looked run down from the outside. It had no lift which made it so hard for elders to climb the stairs. Also they didn’t take us to all places as promised in the brochure, e. G science center, gandhi park and zoo, even though we had plenty of time and despite my repeated requests to take us there. Do not travel with sm travels. Was this information helpful? |
