Ss Infinitus Indore — Builder Fraud- SS Infinitus Not giving refunds/ possession

Hi,
I am residing in United States for past 6 years. I booked an apartment in SS Infinitus Indore in April 2013. The builder promised to give possession within 18 months. He didn't give possession even after 4 years and when I am asking for my refunds, He refused to pay any compensation for the delay, I asked him to at least give my principle amount back or give the possession, he kept on giving excuse. Finally after 4 years he gave me checks only for the principle amount. Now all the checks are getting bounced multiple times due to insufficient funds in his account, when I complaint him, he is threating me and telling me to go to court or whenever I want, saying he will only return the money when it will be convenient for him, be it 2 or 3 more years.

Updated by Fraud Victim I suffered a lot from this fraud builder. They constructed a building without proper clearance from city authority and sold an apartment of that building to me (they hid it from me) they used my money for 5 years and finally after police complaint they returned my money (principle amount only no interest), my suggestion file a police complaint, a complaint on http://cmhelpline.mp.gov.in/ and through other proper channels.

I suffered a lot from this fraud builder. I also had really not so great experience with the builder. I booked apartment in 2022 and he promised me to provide possession on March 2023 but finally he handed over apartment to me on Jan 2025 after so many unethical arguments and took 1 lac extra under the table without receipt. At the end I can say township looks good but the behaviour of builder is pathetic and construction quality is also not so great.
