St Joseph's Pre Primary School, Pathankot — Collecting money in name of donation while admission

My daughter got admission in Lkg in st Joseph's school, pathankot via a lucky draw system. We were called to meet principal and to fulfill other formalities with demand draft of 11000 rupees on 10 Feb 2021 . But while submitting the application form along with DD, official asked to donate minimum 5000 rupees that was compulsory also. This makes me feel like I was cheated. Donations means what you give with your consent. This practice should not be continued. Also every parents should get their imposed donated money back. Donations will be given with their own wish. You can ask school to provide parents contact details and then you confirm from them if school would refuse. I Have donation slip and I will provide it if required
