Stalkbuylove — stalkbuylove - no refund after many follow ups[protected] | |||
This complaint is regarding the order i placed on online shopping website stalkbuylove (Order no.[protected]. I placed the order on 3rd january, 2019 and returned the products (Two tops) within 10 days in same condition as delivered and i received an acknowledgement e-mail on 14th january. I have been following up with them ever since for my refund of rs.1297, but there has been no response ever since. There is no phone number, hence, i can only write e-mails and so far i have sent 5 e-mails, but got response on 25th january stating they are working on the issue and nothing after that. There is no sight of getting my refund as of now, while i have clearly mentioned in my previous e-mail that i will take legal action, hence, i'm seeking support from consumer forum. This is what I have found on their website underneath the returns and refunds section:
"We would like you to have complete peace of mind when buying products from Stalkbuylove.com. You can return all items within 15 days of receipt for a full refund of the item purchased with no questions asked. This excludes bodysuits and swimwear. The refund amount will be credited back to your StalkBuyLove account as a voucher or credit points."
Also, they state this:
" However, if Bank details are provided the refund mode can be changed to bank refund within eight weeks of refund initiation."
"It can take up to 15 days or longer for us to receive your return, depending on your location and which courier service you use. Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect and process the same within 48 hours to ensure you receive your refund as quickly as possible. In order to keep you in the loop, we will send you an email confirming the status of your return. Usually you will receive your refund in term of store credit at the end of this 48 hour window."
And the most important bit:
"How will I be refunded for the return ?
On successfully processing the refund, the refund amount would be credited to your StalkBuyLove account as a voucher or credit points. You would be able to use this credit on any of your subsequent purchases on StalkBuyLove.com."
Based on the above, I guess you need to check your stalkbuylove account first if they have refunded you in their store credits. According to them, if you wanted a bank refund, you have to let them know within 8 weeks of refund initiation for that to happen.
In any case, they have surpassed their own stated timeline and are in a breach of the contract with you. You can easily go to consumer court for getting your refund and maybe some compensation as well from the company.
