That company called me for providing free vouchers and movie tickets towards company promotion. When I go to collect vouchers with my wife, they can forcefully/pressed to become a member. I paid Rs. 125000/- for membership but after getting agreement and found that so many hidden agendas in the agreement, I was totally shocked that they made me fool. There were many verbal promises which are not there in the agreement. What they said was not matching with what was written in the agreement and when I asked them to cancel my membership, they denied. The company is trapping people for hoarding money from innocent people. I would suggest people not to take membership of this company. During signing of agreement, i was told that if i cancel within 7 days, the full amount paid (i.e. Rs 1, 25, 000/-) shall be refunded back to me. The "WORKSHEET/APPROVAL FORM" which was filled during payment had no break up and total fee of Rs 1, 25, 000/- was mentioned, however, in the agreement (in which they rapidly took our signatures without discussing the clauses), the amount was divided to membership amount (Rs 100000/-) and administrative charges (Rs 25000/-) and the administrative charges are mentioned to be non-refundable.
During signing, it was said that full trip shall be arranged by Star Inn, however, during verification call, I was told that Star Inn only arranges accommodation.
During signing, i was told that discounts shall be provided in air fare, taxis shall be provided at Govt rate of Rs 9/- per km, Tour guide shall be provided at free of cost, All adventure activities at place of visit shall be provided free, however, later on, during verification call they denied all such facilities.
Whatsapp messages were shown wherein booking has been done even within 7 days, however, later on, I was told that min 15 days and 45 days prior intimation is required for off season and peak season respectively.
While signing the agreement, I was not told that the 6N/7D stay per year shall lapse if the AMC for the year is not paid. I was told that we have to pay AMC if and only if we avail the stay in that year.
And, now even after providing non-personal reasons within 7 days of signing the agreement, the agency is not refunding the paid amount.
