This show Yeh Hain Chahatein has since Day 1, been potraying misogynistic ideologies. The male lead OPENLY without any hesitation HARASSES the female lead constantly, and it is shown to be " romantic intense fights". I cant believe such content is made in today's society. We are constantly at war with crime and attrocities towards women and such by broadcasting such shows, we are having significant impact on young girls. It should be made clear that HARASSMENT of ANY kind is not tolerable and it is certainly not "love", like the show says.
In this show, the whole plot is based on this pathetic concept. Even the male leads father is shown to be a wife beater. And nobody us there to stop him. He is hailed. I have been watching this show just to keep a tab on their content and it shocks me everyday.
PLEASE STOP SUCH NONSENSE BEING SHOWN IN TV, EITHER TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THE MAKERS OR ASK THEM TO CHANGE THE WRITERS WHO WRITE SUCH HORRIBLE PLOTS IN THE NAME OF "INTENSE VIOLENT LOVE". Was this information helpful? |
