Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a retired Tehsildar and a pensioner of the Punjab Government, drawing my regular pension through State Bank of India, D.A.C. Branch, Bathinda (Account No.: [protected], PPO No.: [protected]).
As per Punjab Government Endorsement Order No. FD-FPPCOMISC/353/2021/-33FPPC/1/1509858/2026, dated[protected], the Dearness Allowance (DA) for pensioners was officially enhanced from 42% to 50%, with clear instructions for payment effective from the September 2026 pension.
Despite the government order:
1. September 2026 Pension: Credited without the revised 8% DA hike.
2. Prior Representation: I submitted a formal written representation regarding this discrepancy on[protected]. to the manager at SBI Bank, DAC Branch, bathinda.
3. October 2026 Pension: Despite the reminder, the pension for October 2026 was again credited at the older, unrevised rate without the 8% enhancement or pending arrears.
The continued delay in applying the notified DA rate and releasing the arrears causes unnecessary financial distress and hardship to a senior citizen pensioner.
I request: Immediate calculation and crediting of the 8% DA arrears for the months of September 2026 and October 2026 to my bank account.
Regularization and timely disbursement of my revised pension at the 50% DA rate from November 2026 onwards.
