State Bank Of Mysore — Cheque clearing charges for cheques deposited in non home (same city) branch

I have deposited a cheque in SBM HSR sector 1 branch and my account is SBM HSR sector 2 branch. I was charged Rs 115 as clearing charges. When i enquired branch they were telling that if cheque is deposited in a non home branch, bank will be charged this amount and this is management decision.

No other bank(s) as far as I know are charging Customers like this.
