I had paid for a product through Paytm. I did not get a confirmation of the order. So, I tried contacting them on the number given on their website. It did not connect. I searched for their customer care number & got this numerous - [protected]. A man named Abhishek Malhotra picked up the phone. I asked him to send the money back into my account. He said he would raise a complaint number. He sent a number by sms & asked me to share that number with him. That is the moment I knew they were a fraud company.
