Horrific Experience with Su-Man Tours and Travels ( Mr. Rakesh/ Mr. Manoj) in Srinagar-Leh Tour (May 2014) Following are the issues/ complaints that were unheard during the tour and hence a written response is expected from Su-Man tour within 15 days of this email, before we have to move to consumer forum with the complaints. Also fellow tourists who have had a very bad experience and feel like they have been cheated of their hard earned money are requested to share their inputs in the below email and support this action against Su-Man tours (Mr. Rakesh). 1) Hotels were not allotted as per the itinerary/ or verbally communicated at most places and there was total mismanagement and confusion on the part of tour operator over the allotment of rooms, as tourists had to be transferred at last moment to other hotels after arriving at the promised/ agreed hotel. 2) Non availability of the concerned persons Mr. Rakesh and Mr. Manoj from Su-Man tours and Travels, in personal or on communication network, during all tour days, was a very harrowing experience for all tourists during all times of such crisis and confusions. 3) Very bad management of kitchen as well, as all arrangement of breakfast, lunch, dinner, mid-way halts; provision of packaged drinking water was not up to the mark and delayed at most days. 4) No arrangement of packed lunch/ drinking water was made by the tour operator (even after a promise was made to arrange so on a previous day) during an almost 12 hours journey from Sonmarg to Kargil via a slow moving traffic on zojilla pass; where there is no other source of availability of food/ drinking water and medical facilities. 5) Due to lack of knowledge on the part of tour operator, we were forced to do travel at unrealistic times. 6) Toll/ Entry Fees/ Local taxes for vehicles were to be paid by most tourists even after the itinerary states that all the above cost are inclusive in the tour package cost. (Tour manager did not arrange for the toll money to be provided with the respective taxi drivers.) 7) In initial tour days at Uddhampur station-Srinagar-Kargil-Leh, bus and tempo travellers were provided to most tourists instead of promised non ac Innova/ Xylo, hence cheating the tourists again. 8) No dry fruits/ snack packets were provided during the entire tour even after it was promised in the Itinerary. 9) Sightseeing and night halt at alchi/uley was cancelled by the tour operator due to lack of knowledge on their part about the vehicle permissions at different places. Tourists were communicated about alchi sightseeing on the way to leh from kargil, but later on it was brought to our knowledge that the provided vehicles did not had permissions to do sightseeing trips to alchi, and hence an entire place was cancelled again cheating all the tourists of their hard earned money. 10) Abusive language of the owner (Mr. Rakesh) when somehow contacted with the staff phone was a very bad surprise and a last nail on the coffin to the whole tour mismanagement and bad experience with Su-Man Tour. Shows a very bad and unprofessional and cheap approach by the Su-Man travels and showing that only money is a concern for them and satisfaction and safety of their tourists does not matter and they have utter disregard towards their clients. A signature campaign initiated by the dissatisfied and cheated tourists has been attached in this email for review.

we are group of 26 person visit leh.we are read riview of suman tour.i personally call to customer mr GADA PATEL ASHOK BHAI & we surprise some Mr gada from MANAV SHOW ROOM MULUND WAS ALREDY VISIT ARUNACHAL & WE COMPLITE OUR LEH TOUR VERRY HEPPILY NO COMPLENTS IN FOOD HOTEL AND TRANSPORTATION.
Firstly the staff and Rakeshbhai should learn how to talk with the client. No discipline no proper management. Poor quality food all the days. We were 12 people from Mumbai went to Assam tour on 10th May 2017. Not a single day there was a tour manager with us. Nor did Rakeshbhai bothered to call and ask. No arrangements for senior citizens. The driver of the car was actually taking us to the places. Nobody to handle things on the tour. Really a bad experience with Suman tours.
Hey..so we just came back from our trip to Assam with suman tours..it was one of the worst experience..
There is a big list of problems which we suffered in our 12 days, 11 night stay.
The first problem was food..at times you would come across unedible stuffs..For eg..the vegetable was half cooked at times..it used to contain more oil ..at times the oil and water would seperate out..
The major problem was that they used to serve dinner at 9:30 even when we were back by 7:30..and some days we had to leave at 7:30/6:30 in the morning still, the dinner was late.
The cook was horrible.
The second problem that we came across was that the manager alloted hotels that weren't mentioned in the iternary..
In tawang..we had to travel for 15 mins to go to the hotel to have out food..that was for three days and three times a day..
Another important thing was that our drivers were drunk at night ..at night, when we had to leave for our dinner, they at times were in such a drunken state that they couldn't take a simple turn..
The third problem was our manager..Mr.Kishore and Mr.Dilip..
Assam is a tour where we need young managers with experience ..as a tourist we either need a guide or a manager to show us the path or atleast let us know what is in there ..they have to accompany us for sight-seeing and other stuff
But, here it was totally opposite..
None of the managers used to accompany us and tell us about the place.
Mr.Kishore was such a rude person.Instead of listening our problems and adjusting according to that, he used to scream, shout and reply rudely.
The managers couldn't manage 60 people..They were two in number so at the end they had to manage 30 people each ..but they didn't know how to answer people or even manage a tour. They couldn't plan things and were worst when it came to replying the people.
DO NOT MAKE A MISTAKE IN GOING IN SUMAN TOURS. A WASTE OF MONEY.

Mr Noody, we had very much similar experience like you all had. One day we got lunch at 4.30 pm. Yes kishor bhai was really rude in talking, no manners . Just thinking how the company is working since 12 years. Such kinda people should shut down the company and sit at home...
There was one more incident where my mom had called up Mr.Rakesh to complain about hotels in tawang and he replied in a sarcastic tone and hanged up without giving a proper answer.
The matter was about giving stay in a hotel where we could have our own kitchen (cause we are jains and the food isn't available)
His reply was ...Pay more money and i'll give you one.
Like he has the audacity to reply like that to his customers.
And for more information MR.JAYDEEP( he has posted somethig above) is one of the managers in the main office in Mumbai.
