A few days ago, I joined this survey company in which you initially have a trial account and I made approximately Rs58. The minimum withdrawal amount is Rs 50 and hence I tried withdrawing it just as a trial to see whether I was actually dealing with genuine company or not. I was not able to withdraw the amount because the website told me that I would need a premium account to start withdrawing and for a premium account, they asked me to make a payment of Rs 699 and they wanted it through Paytm. I transferred Rs 699 to them, sent them an email with a screenshot of the payment as a proof that the payment has been done. On the website, its mentioned that once you follow this process, within 2-3 hours, the account will be upgraded. Its been almost days now, I still have not been able to get any response from them. I have tried contacting them many times about the upgrade but I have not had any response from their end. I have tried contacting the number registered on the paytm wallet but it was always coming off as unavailable, even after calling from different phones! I have spoken to paytm about it and they said that they would also not be able to help me out in this case because the merchant has already withdrawn the amount. I want my money back and I want this person to be arrested. There are may complaints from people on this very Consumer Complaints forum about this company.
With this complaint, I have attached screen shots of the payment and the emails I have sent to this company after the payment was done.
