I was looking for a magazine that was neutral, positive and more of right leaning. That’s when i came across Swarajya magazine through Facebook.I immediately subscribed the magazine for 12 months issue by paying Rs 1500/- to Kovai Media Pvt Ltd, the publisher, through PayUMoney on 7th-Feb-2015.The initial two months of subscription was fine, as i received the issues in first couple of weeks of February and March. Then there was more delay, i received the April issue in 3rd week.In the month of May i received the copy at the end of the month, that too after back and forth mailing about not receiving the copy. Then came the worst part I have not received both June and July month’s issues so far.
Here is a point worth noting and common in all the three issue deliveries. All the three has been booked at the same branch of DTDC Couriers i.e Madiwala, Bangalore office. All the three will be mentioned RTO_INTR (Returning to Origin) as address is unavailable. The most surprising part is that the place where i am residing is well known and I have been receiving courier from all sorts of e-tailers like Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon through various courier services.Infact i have receieved registered posts, normal posts through India Post and also other couriers being delivered by DTDC without any issues. But the problem comes only when this magazine is being couriered through DTDC.This gives a clear indication that there is an understanding between DTDC and the publishers to fool people. They will keep blaming each other and save themselves, only to leave the subscriber doubt if there is something wrong done by themself. My family stays 24×7 and 365 days at the mailing address i had given to the publishers, still i am being told that the DTDC delivery guys could not find anybody at home.Neither i was called at my contact number to confirm the address.I feel cheated by the publishers.Tracking Numbers:
July – B19471852
June – B19392093
May – B19391097
I want my subscription money to be refunded and i am no more intersted in subscribing for this magazine.
