for my wife's dental problem i went to the tamil nadu govt dental hospital, opposite to fort station. I had been going for the past two days. I visited the doctors for root canal. They gave appointment for root canal for my wife's tooth on 25th of June 2015. She has to wait for 4 months to do the root canal. For this long period her tooth will be damaged and may be removed.
When contacted the hospital, they said heavy crowd. But some influenced persons get the treatments immediately. Needy people and the people who not know the known persons in this hospital, and can not get the recommendations from outside, out of the way are getting delayed.
We asked the doctor at least give within a month for appointment, but she said, not possible and if you wanted to remove the tooth, it could be done immediately.
Is it fare ? My annual income is below 75000. We can go to the govt hospitals only. In private dental clinics this root canal is performed at the cost of 3500 rupees. Definitely we can not afford.
NOTE:-
But the hospital is looking good. Gigantic appearance. The hospital is neat and tidy. Patients are attended well.
