Subject: Request for repayment of deposit amount of Shri Jagannath Rambhau Pawar.
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing on behalf of my grandfather, Shri Jagannath Rambhau Pawar, who had deposited an amount of ₹1, 66, 000/- with your society at the Nashik / Chopda branch on 02/04/2019 under Deposit/FD No. 36/1191 (A/c No.)..
The deposit matured on 02/05/2020. However, despite repeated visits and requests, the payment has not been released. We have been informed that the branch has been closed/shifted to Khamgaon, but no clear repayment process has been provided.
We therefore request you to kindly:
Release the maturity amount with applicable interest immediately
Provide written clarification if the society is under liquidation or operational
Inform details of the competent authority handling depositor claims
If the payment is not released within 15 days of receipt of this letter, we will be constrained to approach the Registrar of Co-operative Societies and other legal forums for recovery.
Kindly treat this as a final request.
