I had purchased an Apple iPhone from Taru Telecom on Carter Road on 27 March 2015. He writes one year warranty on the bill. There is an issue with the phone and because I was travelling I could only go to the store on 25th March 2016. He said that anything free is only within 11 months of warranty and the last month warranty is chargeable. He said it is always like this and that he has been in the business for 11 years.
He thinks customers are . any one who says one year warranty means the customer would have to pay after the year is completed. Luckily I did not give it to his technician as Apple would not have even looked at my product had his technician opened the phone. When we went to the Maple store they said that as my phone was in Warranty they will replace my phone.
In short Taru Telecom is making fools of people. He also made a statement saying that even if we complain to the cops no one can do anything to him.
