I’ve applied for a work on freelancer..they’ve directed me to telegram, by saying that the work will be provided on telegram platform. I was given work over there and I’ve completed my work and submitted it to them. But during the payment process, they said that there is some technical issue due to which they are unable to process the payment. And, they’ve asked me to send the code which was generated to my mobile number. I’ve asked them “When I’ve already provided all my details earlier, why do I have to send the code separately now?” They said, “freelancer is not ready to release your money since the account isn’t linked to the portal.” And, they’ve also sent me the screenshot which is official freelancer page asking for my code to verify my account. I assumed it was all true and I’ve send them the code. In next few minutes, that particular telegram account was deleted. Kindly help me with this. I am so worried since I’ve shared the code with them, I don’t know what will they do with my number. Please help me. Was this information helpful? |
