On 2nd August 2025, I was contacted by a Telegram ID (@Hina_dube) offering fake "spa and massage services". I was asked to pay ₹300 as a booking fee via UPI to ID: q[protected]@ybl. After payment, they sent photos and asked me to pay ₹2000 more for a package.
I paid the second amount to a UPI ID linked to Nanji Patel[protected]. They shared a fake hotel location in Navi Mumbai (Ulwe). When I visited the location, hotel staff denied any such service. The scammer then demanded ₹10, 000 more as "security deposit" and blocked me after I refused.
This is a clear case o[censored]PI fraud and online exploitation using Telegram. I have submitted a complaint to the Cyber Crime Portal, but no action has been taken yet. Banks and UPI authorities are also silent.
I request this be marked publicly so others are not scammed.
