Dear sir, it has been almost a month since I had admitted my pet to this animal hospital which is located in Parel East. I believed that this hospital is free of cost but when I admitted my pet they charged me EDP fees for 1750/- Rs. I had paid the said amount and admitted my pet the same day. The fees are increasing day by day, but I could not do anything and paid all whatever they said. The staff had informed me that there was no place for admitting the cat and that they told me to catch the attention of the main supervisor and pay him 200/- Rs. as a pocket money. After some days they also told me to make a blood test that amounts to 850/- Rs. and also, I was told to bring a spray called Alu white spray which cost me 500/- Rs. After paying they got me a place in the cage. My cat is placed in B room with other cats who are treated. After more than 1 month they now keep calling me to pay the rent fees of 200 per day amounting to above 8000/- Rs. I cannot afford the fees for the cat admission process its costing me too much. I am not able to understand that this is too much for a lower middle-class family to support a stray cat. I can afford 20-30 Rs. per day not more than that because this is a stray cat, and they might be thinking that this cat is my home pet. Please I request you to make some discount or reduce the fees of the rent of the cat stay in the hospital. Now that the cat is recovering from his leg fracture it will become very difficult for me to take him back otherwise the same issue will worsen, and I will have to do the same process again. I already told the ward boys to ensure my cats recovery in time and I will then take him to my home. Yet they don't understand, and they keep saying take the cat home as the cat will get infection from other cats. They keep calling me for the fees sake and are not interested in keeping the cat. Please do something and reduce the cat rehabilitation center fees and make it cheaper or make it free at least the cats will get time to recover and can be discharged without hurry.
