I am writing to file a formal complaint against TheClothingRack (based in India), regarding a recent order of custom-made outfits that were faulty and not as per the measurements I provided.
Summary of Issue:
• I placed an order with TheClothingRack for several custom outfits, providing accurate body measurements as requested.
• Upon receipt, multiple outfits were poorly made, including one with a broken zipper and another that was excessively tight and unusable.
• The yellow outfit was made correctly, but the others did not fit and had defects.
• I reported these issues promptly and requested either a full refund or correct remakes of the faulty outfits.
• TheClothingRack refused to provide a full refund, claiming a “no refund” policy and demanding body measurement videos which I found to be unreasonable and intrusive.
• They admitted fault only for one outfit and offered a partial refund of ₹4000/- but have refused any further resolution.
• Despite multiple attempts on my part to resolve this amicably, the seller has not taken full responsibility and has instead delayed and deflected blame.
My Requests:
• Full refund or correct remaking and shipment of the faulty outfits (excluding the yellow one which was fine).
• A fair resolution without further undue demands or delays.
I believe the seller’s refusal to accept full responsibility and their insistence on unreasonable demands violates consumer protection laws relating to goods that are not as described or fit for purpose.
I request your intervention to help resolve this dispute fairly.
