My Dad has the problem of Liver. For better treatment, Dad suddenly saw that 100% liver disease can be cured using Ayurveda medicines (During Google search). On 22/07/2021; for this; Dad called at [protected] from ([[[protected]]]), & after taking call one said "in our 5 to 8 generation's history, many patients cured the problem of Liver parenchymal disease. Just you've to take our 3 months Ayurveda medicines.please share SGPT, Bilirubin's details with us." After that my dad shared just about those 3 to 4 information (blood related which is not so im) & said "how much cost of it ? we are from middle cast family, please based on it say about cost." Then they said "Just 4500/- rupees. But for now you've to give 1200/-. Try to do it as soon as possible. Details: paytm number: [protected] {"Somdev Dhawan"} / SBI account number: [protected] (IFSC code: SBIN0008109). " Dad was little bit confused, but for bad situation of body Dad said "OK, I'll give money within 5 minutes." Then my Dad saying to me " Try to send 1200/- money to this .." I was starting to do it but again; within 1 minute they called my dad & said "Giving Money ? How much time will need." Dad said "Wait. . My son is sending..." I've no searched about this company, just for this I've sent money as my Dad said. Then they said "OK. within 4 to 5 days item will be delivered."
After this ORIGINAL TWIST BEGINS...
After 24 to 30 hours (on 23/07/2021), they called back & said to my dad "Actually, for Acidity/...(something) problem, you've to pay 5000/- extra."
How much they tried to WASH my Dad's BRAIN by saying many thing to dad It is completely lengthy. However at end, My dad was said "Don't call me back !" But they continuously tried to call from [protected]. After blocking it they again tried to call my dad from [protected]. Finally Dad said "You're saying with Ex Indian Army Soldier, who know which persons are how, actually for bad health i was believed to you for some time. My son also completed Masters Degree in Computer Science. Instantly my son will complain against you."
FINALLY they stopped calling.
According to Google: There have 3 duplicate branches as Websites:
1. https://thedrkarma.com/liver/
2. https://www.karmaayurveda.com/
3. https://www.karmaayurveda.in/
All of those websites has 3 things common:
1. Establishment Year: 1937,
2. Patient case study: 35000+,
& 3. Patient treated globally: 1, 20, 000+.
Don't know there have how much sub branches. But they can create it also. According to conversation, they are from Delhi who:
1. Don't know about Liver except few terms.
2. Just try collect money from Customers by trapping.
3. If deliver medicines, then it'll not work for customer; it has no any review in Google.
Don't know it is possible to get back 1200/- money or not BUT It's my appeal from Malda, West Bengal to "consumercomplaints" & GOI: please take action against them, who spray their business specially after starting COVID19 pandemic.
