The New Pariksha Diagnostic Centre — Advance Paid for Ultrasonography, No Service Provided, No Refund Fraud by Diagnostic Centre

I am registering this grievance against The New Pariksha Diagnostic Centre, T.C. Road, near New Bus Stand, Saradapally, Tarkeshwar, Hooghly, West Bengal – 712410, for taking advance payment for an ultrasonography test but completely failing to deliver the service, communicate, or maintain any professionalism.

On 27th May 2025, I visited this centre and booked an ultrasonography test under the assurance that Dr. Khamure would conduct the test. I paid ₹800 in advance via UPI (Google Pay) through their local QR code. The staff neither gave any receipt nor sent any SMS, email, or call to confirm my appointment date or time. There was no booking confirmation, no service timeline, no transparency, and no system to inform me when I had to come.

After waiting days without hearing from them, I personally followed up and was casually told that “the doctor is not available now, ” and that my test is “special, ” so it may happen later or may get delayed. This irresponsible behavior forced me to go to another diagnostic centre to get the ultrasonography done, as it was related to my health and could not be postponed any longer.

When I went back to ask for a refund, the staff refused and said they “don’t have any refund policy.” But:
• They never told me about this policy before payment
• They did not provide the service
• They did not even confirm the booking
• They did not inform the doctor, it seems, and took the money blindly
• There is no proper software, receipt system, refund record, or doctor communication process

How can a diagnostic centre accept money without confirming availability, give no receipt, make the customer wait endlessly, and then refuse to refund when the service is not provided?

This is not a small mistake — it shows a complete lack of accountability, a broken system, and unethical practice, especially dangerous when it involves health care. It is mentally harassing, frustrating, and deeply disappointing.

I strongly demand a full refund of ₹800 that I paid on 27th May 2025 for a service never provided.

I am attaching proof of payment and a photo of the centre. Please take strict action so that others don’t face such exploitation in the name of healthcare.
