The Pacific Holiday World (a Unit Of 4r Seasons Holidays Pvt. Ltd.) — They lied about the vouchers

We were invited as 'Guests' on[protected] and if we attend, we would be given 3 kinds of vouchers for food, movie and hotel stay. This communication was sent on whatsapp from 2 different numbers - [protected] and [protected].

The ordeal started when we asked to use the vouchers. The emails were sent on 24th June 2023. In spite of the voucher number mentioned in the subject line of the email, they asked me to tell them the voucher number. Then they said the hotel vouchers can be availed only after 15th September 2023. They kept postponing the movie vouchers also for every 15 days first till 15th July and subsequently to 10th August 2023. After my protesting, they said to contact them on 25th July. On that date, they said to contact them after 15th August. They finally gave the voucher on 5th August after a lot of pestering over emails.

When I tried to ask for vouchers after 15th September 2023, they said it is peak season and they can give this only in non-peak season. I told them that Manali (where I wanted to travel) has off-peak season starting October and I am asking for reservation in October only, which was an absolute and easily dispuatbale lie. Then they asked me to contact them after 26th January 2024. I showed them the information easily available on Google, but they said 'according to their policy' october to january is a peak season. Finally they said that to avail this voucher I will have to pay 'utility charges' which were almost the room tarrif in Manali in off-peak season.

So, the modus operandi is this.. they will call you for presentations, promising certain vouchers. But when you try to avail those vouchers you realize how they were lieing about everything. Basically, there are into unfair practices and lure people by selling dream vacations but inside they have nothing to offer or no intent to offer any service.

First, I would want them to apologize and then provide the 'complementary' vouchers as promised. And stop making fools of people if they have no intent in honoring their promises.
