Thomson Led Smart Tv — smart tv youtube and other app not working

I have bought smart tv last year. Since yesterday all apps and including youtube not working.
When i was calling from yesterday thomson toll free number got disconnected every time. I have send him mail post the my issue there facebook and twitter handle account. But no response from thomson.

We are not using any dish and cable tv at the moment so we are totally depend on youtube app for but it's not working.

Request thomson support call me asap to troubleshoot further issue.

Thanks Thomson for responding to our issue.
Followed below steps worked for this issue:

1. Open Aptoide tv present in your Thomson Smart TV
2. Search for youtube Upgrade
3. You should see an application with name "Upgrade" (Circle icon)
4. Install it [ not sure how safe but this works :) ]
5. Open application and through this update youtube application
6. This application will upgrade youtube and also restart your tv

That's it you are set to go on youtube app itself.
Same problem I am facing with Thomson 55"4k led smart tv
Me too facing the same issue. I raised a complaint and sent email to the team. Got the response that they need 7 days to get this sorted. 4 days are gone. Hoping to get the resolution as committed.
ya even i am facing the same issue. i restore factory setting that time its work, once i switch off the TV its having same problem

The issue is now solved,
Please follow the steps to update your “YOUTUBE’’ App:-
1) Open App store/ Apptoide
2) Type Youtube in the search option
3) The upgrade option will appear
4) Click on upgrade
5) Download it
Your TV will Restart ( do not press any key till it gets restarted)
➔ Once the TV gets start homepage will appear
On the home page click on YouTube
➔ If it asks for sign-in then log in and enjoy YouTube
➔ If does not ask to login then continue/ open and enjoy your youtube.

When I try to upgrade, it says your device is not supported
I am also facing the same issue and error is observed "This version is not compatible for this device". I raised a complaint and sent email to the team. but i did not get any response from last 7 days.

Last 15 days on words youtube app is not working on MY Thomson B9 TV,

I am also facing the same issue and i have tried these above steps but i got the error "App isn't installed".

Please check and help me out...
Faced same problem with B9 smart TV.
Followed steps suggested here.
But while trying to perform 'youtubeUpgrade', showing message 'Not enough memory'.
But while opening 'About' menu, it shows enough space is left (400 MB left).
What can i do without going for factory setting?
I am also facing same issue, looks like we should not opt for Thomson...Very worst support

Well to be honest im using B9 series and after going through all this reviews, I'm pretty sure we would end up upgrading the TV eventually instead of getting a fix cuz Thomson is not willing to help their old customers..Anyway I've tried and failed..So couldt find the aptoide app on the default store which I've noticed on some other Thomson series, which i dont think is also android supported..However seems like we would need to try something else apart from this or just buy a new one which supports android.

It can be solved by following steps:
1. Got home screen (start of tv where home button there)
2. Search youtube
3. Click 3 or 4th one YouTube upgrade
4. Download, once done
5. Click Open
6. Click Start, wait to restart.

Most of the people try updating youtube app but they need to update YouTubeUpgrade app.
Pls check in the app store for YouTube upgrade and install it. Once download open it. It Automatically restart your TV and YouTube working now
The person called me from customer care TV solved my issue. The person was very reactive, as I have to call him many times. Here it is the procedure:-
Go to App Store, then Apptoide TV, Search Option on the left corner, type youtube space upgrade. Till the time you give the space after youtube and upgrade is typed fully the upgrade option cannot be seen. Click the youtube upgrade, install. Then the TV will restart and the Youtube can be watched.
The Customer care person's number who helped me is [protected]. Of course I had launched complaint before he called me.

I too echo the same, Thomson TV B9 pro is not compatible with any of the android updates.

I bought the tv last year and unable to get any of the app updates.

Will some o[censored]r executives invest time and understand why there is an issue and pls for heaven sake don't pass the buck.

If people are raising concerns that mean some thing is wrong with the product.

Request thomson to pls reach out and do fix the problem.

Pls don't share the standard instruction o[censored]pdating the app, so give concrete solution.
