I am writing to file a formal complaint against Thrillophilia regarding my recent booking experience, which has been fraught with issues, lack of transparency, and unprofessional conduct. Below are the details of my grievances:
Booking Information:
I booked a holiday trip to Spain through Thrillophilia for the dates March 9th to March 13th, 2024.
Booking PNR reference/confirmation number: BKDJGYLQYAR
Amount paid: 27049 INR
Date of payment: December 22, 2023
Visa Application:
Thrillophilia outsourced my visa application to WCT.
Despite providing all necessary documents, my visa application was rejected due to a poorly drafted cover letter, which failed to adequately justify the purpose of my visit.
I incurred additional expenses due to the visa rejection.
Communication Issues:
Throughout the booking process and subsequent issues, communication with Thrillophilia has been severely lacking.
Emails and phone calls to Thrillophilia representatives, including Snehal Bhatia and Siddhanth, have gone unanswered or resulted in minimal assistance.
Siddhanth's phone number appears to be out of service, making it impossible to reach him for resolution.
Non-refundable Football Match Ticket:
I was not informed by Thrillophilia about the purchase of a non-refundable football match ticket on my behalf.
The inclusion of this ticket in my itinerary could have strengthened my visa application, yet it was never shared with me.
Lack of transparency regarding additional expenses is unacceptable.
Cancellation Request and Refund:
I submitted a cancellation request through the Thrillophilia portal (Ticket No. CSTHGVRHV4XVHHGT) on February 12, 2024.
I am requesting a full refund of the initial payment of 27049 INR from Thrillophilia and an additional refund of 3000 INR from WCT for the expenses incurred due to their errors.
Legal Action:
Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, the lack of response and satisfactory resolution from Thrillophilia leaves me with no choice but to consider legal action if the matter is not addressed promptly and satisfactorily.
I expect Thrillophilia to acknowledge this complaint and provide a resolution in line with my requests. Failure to do so will force me to escalate this matter further.
