Ok I will tell u the whole process.
I have applied for name correction in PAN CARD through physical mode (in e-kyc think so)in a computer center(csc).
I have applied for name correction in Pan card on 15Nov2022.
When I checked my application status in https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pantan/StatusTrack.html
On 15 Nov 2022 : Your application is under process at TIN FC.
On 22 NOV 2022: Your application is under process at TIN Facilitation Center (TIN FC) where you have made the application. While processing your application, following discrepancy(ies) has/have been noticed. Kindly contact the TIN FC 8814940669 for details: Application form incomplete/not properly filled" .
It says discrepancy but not mentioned what exactly if yours is same case as mine then chill.At this I got so confused about discrepancy when I asked csc where I applied they said not to worry it'll be processed soon. But there's no hope until 14 Dec. Ss it sucks but just wait.So Don't worry it usually takes 30 days to process your application if it's under TIN FC.
On 14 Dec 2022: My application status changed to “Your application is under process at NSDL".
On 15 Dec 2022: “Your application is under process at the Income Tax Department”.
On 18 Dec 2022: The status remained same but I got my e-pan through my email.
On 19 Dec 2022: The status changed to “Your application is under process at the Income Tax Department and will be dispatched to you shortly”
On 20 Dec 2022: The status changed to “Your PAN card has been dispatched on 18-Dec-2022 by Speed Post vide airway bill no. JN183983965IN, at the address for communication* indicated by you in the application. The PAN card will be delivered in due time.”
On 22 Dec 2022: Finally I got my physical pan card through speed post this morning.
So overall it took 37 days in my case. Yours may vary. If your status doesn't change in 30 days then submit a grievance http://athttps://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices/#/fo-greivance/submit (athttps://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices/#/fo-greivance/submit)
