On many online shopping websites and utility bill payments websites which use bill junction or tpsl-india payment gateway page, i have noticed that the credit card expiry date select dropdown shows years starting from 2016. The current year is 2019. How can older, passed years be shown in the dropdown? This is a serious programming error and security breach on the part of the payment gateway. This means that anyone having an older expired card can still enter details and complete the transaction if their banks have not hotlisted, blocked or discontinued their cards in the bank's systems.
